Wildwood Revival Unveils Full Artist Lineup For 2019
Wildwood Revival is a thoughtfully curated and intimate festival set to return September 27th – 29th 2019 on historic Cloverleaf Farm. Think of this as a summer camp for adults just outside of Athens, Georgia. Furthermore, Wildwood Revival is filled with workshops, locally crafted food, drinks, and of course a fantastic lineup! Also, there will be plenty of activities. Celebrating its sixth anniversary, this gathering notably embodies the magic of a Deep South setting. Moreover, festival goers will truly dive out into the wildwood celebrating Athens’ storied music scene.
THE LINEUP
Music will vary from Country, Blues, early Jazz, Gospel, Soul, Hip-hop, Metal and Rock n’ Roll. In other words, this isn’t your every day festival. Wildwood explores music, food, and friendship. In short, this coveted jubilee is a little country, a bit rock n’ roll, and everything in between.
General admission and VIP tickets are on sale now! And, the official lineup of performers for 2019 has been released. In particular, festival goers can enjoy engaging sets from an array of artists including:
Langhorne Slim and The Lost at Last Band
Performers take the stage in the Pecan Grove as well as inside the farm’s open-air barn. Beyond the stage lights, there are late-night picking sessions around the campfire where the best stories are of course often sung.
THE EXPERIENCE
The festival also features a dynamic artisan market with vintage clothing, antiques, printmakers, woodworkers, 1800’s-era tintype photography, leather makers, handmade crafts and more. Wildwood Revival celebrates what’s old is new again to emphasize how it embraces its history as a cultural revival. Thus, making it a true antithesis to what people have come to think of festivals.
THE VENDORS
Around the grounds, festival goers can experience great food, cold craft beers from Creature Comforts Brewing Co., and locally produced meals. In addition, this is a plastic-free experience without the use of a single plastic cups or bottled waters. In fact, kudos to YETI for offering festival goers stylish drink ware options! To add on, all water on festival grounds is filtered, cold and free. Although camping is highly encouraged for the full experience, there are plenty of lodging options in nearby Athens, if guests prefer a king bed under AC rather than a shady patch of grass.
