Sugar Factory – Insanely “Instagramable” Breakfast

Sugar Factory Miami Beach is a wonderland of sweetness and fun for both children and adults. This American Brasserie is anything but typical. The drinks, food and ambiance are an absolute spectacle. So it should come as no surprise that Sugar Factory is one of the most Instagrammed restaurants in America. They serve over-the-top milkshakes, smoking goblets, and eye-catching fare. And this August they’ve launched an equally creative breakfast menu!

The new breakfast menu offers a mix of sweet and savory. Or both at once with options like the Donut or Waffle Breakfast Burger. Hot and cold coffee beverages from espressos to frapuccinos. Even Mimosa Goblets and Build-Your-Own Bloody Marys. But perhaps the most notable of the menu is the Insane Double Stack Rainbow Pancakes!

The Goblet of Fire

Brunch began with two huge, brightly-colored goblets, and immediately we had to bring the cameras out! The massive drinks look like magic potions bubbling and smoking with dry ice. They’re perfect for sharing, as downing 60Oz solo is no easy task. Most can be boozy or non-alcoholic so the whole family can enjoy. The Lollipop Passion is their signature goblet and tastes like liquid candy and the tropics. It comes garnished with two long lollipops entangled in a candy necklace. And of course, brunch wouldn’t be complete without the Mimosa Goblet ( prosecco, orange slices, and refreshing orange juice). This one comes with cherries on top! Gummy candy cherries that is…

Insane Milkshakes

Insane Milkshakes

If you rather something a little creamier, but don’t want to lose WOW factor, don’t worry… The Insane Milkshakes are just as eccentric. We had the Caramel Sugar Daddy Cheesecake, a blend of vanilla ice-cream, cheesecake pieces, and caramel sauce. Served in a chocolate covered mug with crushed graham crackers and topped with whipped cream, Sugar Daddy candy, a rainbow lollipop and a slice of NY style cheesecake. But our favorite was the Campfire Spiked S’mores Milkshake: Chocolate and coffee ice-cream blended with espresso, toasted marshmallow, Virginia Black Whiskey, topped with an insane seven layer s’more cookie served on top of a dark chocolate covered mug with Hershey bar chunks, and dusted with graham cracker crumbles and pieces.

Breakfast

To balance out the sugar rush, the new breakfast menu features savory options like Grilled NY Strip Steak & Eggs and Veggie Omelet ( three farm fresh eggs, aged cheddar, parsley and chives, crimini mushrooms, onions, tomatoes, green peppers, parsley and chives, hash browns and your choice of toast). I devoured The Sugar Factory Eggs Benedict! The two poached farm fresh eggs on Canadian bacon, grilled asparagus, hash browns and biscuits, topped with homemade hollandaise were runny, fresh and delicious. The perfect contrast to all the sweetness! Though we highly recommend making room for more…

Sheyz Sanchez enjoying Insane Double Stack Rainbow Pancakes

A popular favorite is the Chicken and Waffles ( buttermilk fried chicken served over their classic vanilla bean waffle with whipped butter and warm maple syrup ). But our absolute must-try recommendation from the breakfast menu are the Insane Double Stack Rainbow Pancakes. Necks turned and faces lit up in awe as they made our way to our table. The fluffy colorful rainbow stack is topped with powdered sugar and drizzled in warm maple syrup. They are limited quantity so reservations are advised. It also comes with chocolate chips, strawberries, gummy bears, rainbow sprinkles, whipped cream and butter to add as you please. And even a signature Sugar Factory rubber duckie to take home! I didn’t realize how much I miss getting free toys with my food, but this isn’t the place to act like an adult… Sugar Factory is a one-of-kind experience for all ages. Perfect for a group or family outing, even an unforgettable date!

Sugar Factory serves breakfast every Saturday + Sunday from 9AM to 2PM and is located on 1060 Ocean Drive, Miami Beach, FL 33139. To find more info click here.
