Stefano Versace Gelato Bistro – Brickell’s New Café Serving Healthy Bites

Stefano Versace has opened over 30 gelato establishments nationwide, but Stefano Versace Gelato Bistro is the first of its kind for the brand. Offering healthy options and scrumptious treats in a fast, casual manner. Located in Brickell, the large windows give a stunning view of the ocean and high rises. Though the ambiance is casual, it’s also very chic. The modern rustic look is what loft dreams are made of.

The Italian style eatery features dishes from all over, for brunch and lunch. To sip on, choose from specialty coffees, smoothies, freshly-pressed juices, even mimosas and wine. Snack on patries, sandwiches, or a quick meal option from the grab and go. Check out the daily specials allowing you to pick a protein + two sides. A convenient way to help those with a busy schedule stay healthy on the move!

They also feature a delicous lunch menu for those with a bit more time. It may only take up one page, but I was thoroughly impressed by (and wanted to order) most items. The Burrata Salad ( Burrata, Arrugula, and Balsamic Vinegar ) is a light, refreshing yet irresistibly creamy dish. A kinda creamy that won’t ruin a hot day. The Salmon Tartare ( on Asian Vinaigrette, Avocado, Scallions, Masago and Sesame Seeds) is also fresh and so soft it feels like it melts in your mouth. They come with chips to add some crunch.

My fave are the Sliders – made from Angus Beef or Impossible Foods ( the vegan alternative ). Since I’ve been a pescetarian for years so we went for the Impossible Foods option. It’s the best I’ve ever had, even before I stopped eating meat. But if you think my opinion is biased, my meat-loving date agreed! The brioche buns are crunchy yet soft. The burger topped with Brie Cheese, Avocado, Red Onions, Grape Tomatoes, Special Sauce, and a Quail Egg. The yolk saturing my sliders with each bite…

The best part is the variety, specially of ethnic cuisine. A multicultural city like Miami calls for food that represents it. Here you’ll find Italian, Japanese, American, and more all getting along (that applies to people and food). But as the name implies, you can’t make an exit without trying its frozen gourmet specialty too.

Recognized world-wide, this cold treat is arriving right on time to help combat the Miami heat! My fave were the Choccolato Al Latte, tasting like a deep rich brownie. And of course, the Pistachio of Sicilia. But you can sample each one before making a choice so don’t take my word, and try it yourself…

Open Monday – Thursday from 8 am – 10 pm, Friday and Saturday from 8 am – 11 pm and Sunday from 8 am – 10 pm. Lunch is served everyday from 12pm-3pm, and brunch every weekend from 10am-3pm. Located on 1300 Brickell Bay Dr, Unit #CU2, Miami, FL 33131.
