Miami once again became the food capital of the USA for a long weekend as hundreds of the world’s top chefs and eaters descended upon Miami for the annual South Beach Wine and Food Festival! America’s beloved queen of Italian cuisine Giada De Laurentiis, joined us for the kickoff event Italian Bites on the Beach. Twas a beautiful Miami winter night as foodies pounded cuisine from what seemed like 100’s of restaurants from Miami, across the country and even some Real Italian chefs!
Festival goers grabbed their friends and gathered ‘round under the festival signature white tents in the sand for a feast of the ages, all paired perfectly with refreshing cocktails from Aperol and Campari including the iconic Aperol Spritz and Negroni. The fest is always fun and ridiculously filling.
Our fave bites of the night were-
Deliriously addictive Homemade Crackers and pimento cheese spread from Moneteverde. These lil critters packed a profound amount of flavor!!
From San Fran – SPQR5 white bolognese which might have been one of the best pastas we ever had in America. Perfectly cooked pasta in a creamy white sauce that made your eyes and tongue pop out of your skull!
Local Miami loved pizza spot Pizza Bar pumped out nonstop BBQ chicken pizza that had the crowd lining up and foaming at the mouth for the entire event…
An Amazing olive oil cake from an exceptional Italian baker…
This stupendous Truffle Arancini with Ricotta, Mint Truffle Honey, and Affilla Cress by Patrick Ochs of The Celino Hotel took my mouth back tothe Famed Pizzarium by the Vatican!!
