Pulse Late Night At The Movies – Incredible Evening of Music and Culture!

Hello my little pleasure loving fabulous readers! We promoted this amazing event a few weeks ago, and I am back with a post musical breakdown of the last Pulse Late Night At The Movies held for the season! I am still reeling from such an amazing time! I never would have dreamed of having so much fun at the symphony! Dude Skywalker and the symphony together were unbelievable, it was truly a pleasure to hear some of the most iconic tunes of our times blended with a little tiki tiki music- Miami’s term for electronic beats. We were treated to an intriguing backstage tour where we learned so much about why the New World Center is one of the most special concert halls in the country due to its design and implementation. It is truly a feat of magic to witness how much time and effort goes into the lighting, sound, and stage design for this event. Joining the Friends of the New World Symphony for a rooftop cocktail hour kicked our night off and was a great way to meet other young professionals in the city who value the preservation of culture and music in the magic city.

During the night we were treated to live symphonic renditions of  Star WarsJames Bond, The Incredibles, West Side Story, The Godfather, Superman, Inception, and composer Sam Hyken’s brand new work! It was a lovely night of happiness and nostalgia mixed with wonder at the capability of technology to allow this to happen! I speak again of the lighting, because it was phenomenal and really added an exceptional touch to the already wonderful event.
