Housed in the former Rokbar space, MynTu is an impressive & intimate French-Japanese resto-lounge by entrepreneur Romain Zago, as an extension of Miami’s ultra-lounge Mynt. We profoundly adore MynTu! It is a sexy, sophisticated venue with deliriously delicious libations and cuisine. The place is a blast as well! Around 10:30-11:00 the DJ cranks up the volume and the place turns into a raucous Sobe party dinner!

Myn-Tu’s interior boasts a 2,500-square-foot space, with a bar leading guests from the entrance into the 80-seat dining room. Designed by Gianni Ranaulo, the restaurant melds Japanese futuristic design with the sultry style of a Parisian lounge. Myn-Tu’s interior is sculpted by LED-infused framed mirrors, which cover the ceiling and walls giving it a vibrant glow and features an open kitchen that allows guests to see the food being prepared. White leather bucket chairs flank the black marble dining tables, while white leather booths line the walls for a stylish nightlife touch.

Executive Chef Merryl Villacorta and Sushi Master Seiya Noborikawa helm the kitchen having honed their skills in lauded restaurants such as Nobu, Blue Ribbon, and Sugarcane. In the open kitchen they combine Japanese and Vietnamese flavors with a French twist. In the open kitchen they combine Japanese and Vietnamese flavors with a French twist. The food was beyond exquisite and we shall walk you through the best…

We had some of the most scrumptious bites of food in Miami here! one must absolutely commence with Asian Tacos with lobster or tuna, yuzu tofu avocado, and crispy wonton ($6). The taco is crispy, but the interior is doused with awesome sauce so there is no need to dip it in a sauce. The gold flakes sprinkled atop is the perfect touch to this ostentatious dinner.

Crispy Betsy with Yellowtail tuna, wonton chip, and truffle aioli ($16). A harmoniously balanced dish with the perfect amount of crisp, truffle and yellowtail.

Wagyu Gyoza $34 Wagyu, shitake mushroom, white zucchini, truffle oil. Real Japanese Waguy made these some of the most precious we ever experienced!

These Sea bass Caramelo Skewers are pure heaven! $22 for Two pc 6oz skewers Chilean sea bass marinated in sake miso

Complementing the dinner menu are their curated craft cocktails, which include Pink Lady with Bombay Sapphire Gin, hibiscus, lime juice cucumber, white eggs, and agave syrup ($16); Mynt Mule with Stoli, Hiro Sake, green tea syrup, Ginger beer, and mint leaves (16);  and Everything is Better with Bubble a refreshing mix of Grey Goose Vodka, strawberry purée, lime juice, simple syrup, and top it off with Champagne ($21). Our faves were the Machete – a blend of Barcardi Anejo, red peppers, lime, simple syrup, and Espelette Pepper ($18) & the Creme Brulee concoction.

MynTu was one of the most impressive dines we have had in Maimi and can not wait to come back to pound the rest of the menu and check out their new Monday night Tantric Party. Mondays get sexier in Miami as Myn-Tu debuts its new sensual weekly cabaret dinner party – Tantric Mondays. The Moulin Rouge-inspired experience presented by owner Romain Zago entices all the senses as it combines sultry cabaret, music, and the sensual flavors of French and Japanese cuisine to bring to life the vast world of entertainment and fine dining all in one place. Transforming the venue’s interior in theme, the weekly party will be hosted by Jose Leonardo and Sebastien Charny as The Mynt Dolls captivate the audience.

Myn-Tu is open for dinner Monday & Thursday-Saturday, with the kitchen operating until 2am. Myn-Tu’s lively and rich atmosphere make it the perfect destination for a decadent lively dinner or a late-night tipple as it is THE ONLY restaurant in all of Miami licensed to serve alcohol until 5 a.m.
