La Petite Maison Review – Brickell’s Best Restaurant

Looking for a truly memorable night out? We were vastly impressed with the wonderful La Petite Maison! This London-based French restaurant comes from the same group that brings us Zuma and we are huge fans! The Miami restaurant spans 4,600-square-feet, offers indoor and outdoor seating, and is located in the heart of Miami’s business district at 1300 Brickell Bay Drive.

The interior is subdued and charming with fresh tomatoes that you can cut up and douse with oil inducing the staff to bring over marvelous fresh and crispy bread to accompany it.

Before we dive into the menu we must start you of with a couple drinks from their impressive bar program! They are famous for their Tomatini, which is their refreshing take on the tomato martini. We truly loved the Greenwich, a mystical combination of Havana Club Rum and herbal liquor, balanced with mint and matcha tea. This drink is stupendous and a must try!

The cuisine at La Petite Maison is terrific, it combines the best from French and Italian ingredients to make your taste buds dance in glee! Chef Patron Duntoye, a three Michelin-star pedigree chef has crafted an extensive menu of popular dishes that are a combination of original menu items created by the Nice founders, recipes he has reinterpreted, and several lighter-fared dishes that honor the principles of this Niçoise micro-cuisine.

Cuisine Niçoise embrace an approachable cross section of French-Mediterranean cuisine with Italian influences. The menu pays no compromise to ensure the very best and freshest ingredients adorn the menu, with dishes made to reflect the seasons.

Begin the meal with ingredient-forward dishes like the Burrata with Fresh Datterini Tomatoes and Basil, Crevettes Tièdes à l’Huile d’Olive, warm prawns with olive oil, and Carpaccio de Coquilles St Jacques, scallop carpaccio.

We know it shall be difficult, because there are too many wonderful options on the menu, but you MUST save room for the Captivating Vanilla Crème Brulee! this hypnotic, creamy and vanilla infused masterpiece is perfect. We may have t ostart the meal with it next time!

Le Petite Maison is easily our favorite restaurant in Brickell. Its stupendous food, adorable ambiance and deep menu shall have us returning many more times!
