Miami Celebrity Domino Night Review

I spent this past Saturday night playing dominos, and it was some of the most fun I’ve had in a while. That’s because I was surrounded by music, food, drinks and what seemed like an endless array of local celebrities. On June 20th, 2015 Amigos for Kids, a non-profit organization dedicated to preventing child abuse and neglect, held their annual Miami Celebrity Domino Night at Jungle Island. With sponsorships from big names such as Bacardi, The Lincoln Motor Company, Baptist Health South Florida and more. It comes to no surprise that this is considered one of Miami’s more popular fundraising events. Check out our Miami Celebrity Domino Night Review Video.

At the Celebrity Domino Night their was a plethora of options to keep you busy. One could enjoy scrumptious bites from vendors like Cafe Pilon, Goya Foods, Los Ranchos, Paella’s R Us, Sushi Maki and more. You could choose to dance the night away to live music provided by acts like NBC’s “The Voice” contestant, Karina Iglesias. Or bid in the silent auction for a chance to win items which included art, fine jewelry and even vacation packages. Of course you could just do what I did… head over to the Bacardi open bar, grab as much free food as humanly possible, find a dominos table and gawk at celebrities. Speaking of which, it was neat rubbing elbows with local personalities such as Jackie Nespral, Elizabeth Guitierrez, Francisca Lachapel and Pamela Silva.
