Mellow Mushroom Launches Delicious “Burger BFFs”

Atlanta is the home of many famous staples; Coca-Cola, OutKast, TomorrowWorld, and of course the mouth watering munchies of Mellow Mushroom. Mellow Mushroom is one of those places that mixes happy stoner-vibes, with tasty unique variations of classic pizza favorites. And now, customers can enjoy another American staple – BURGERS!
Mellow Mushroom’s new Burger BFFs campaign brings us Carnie and Herb, the names are pretty self-explanatory but if you need it broken down the burgers come in two varieties: vegetarian and beef. Both served with a side of yummy roasted red potatoes.
The Herb is a savory combination made with kale, quinoa, roasted mushrooms, brown rice, some other veggies and seasoned to perfection. The patties come topped with cheddar, lettuce, tomato, sweet onions, and fresh avocado.
The Carnie is made with 100% all natural, certified Black Angus Beef with guilt-free knowledge that the cows are humanely raised. You can get this meaty boy with Swiss, caramelized onions, lettuce, tomato, pickles, and a garlic aioli spread.
To go along with their new menu items Mellow Mushroom has launched their “Burger BFF” multi-platform digital campaign. These playful animated shorts feature characters representing Carnie and Herb and several of their food and drink related buddies. The stores follow the friendships of the Mellow Mushroom characters, bringing them to life.
The short videos will be featured across Mellow Mushroom’s social media platforms, and the microsite for Burger BFF allows customers to engage with Herb and Carnie, including activities like mad-lib dream trip story telling, Burger Buddies Quizzes, Show us your ‘Gram Instagram campaign, and a sweepstakes – including a chance to win a trip to Seattle or Colorado!
As far as the food goes, though, if burgers aren’t your thing (like it was that night for our group), there are plenty of other classic pizza options. These pies are made with an Appalachian spring water-based dough topped with delicious vine-ripened tomato sauce and tons of fresh ingredients.

Of course, lets not forget the apps. We got the artichoke dip with garlic points, wings and the “pretzels.” I’ll cynically call them, being a Philly girl you can’t fool me with twisting up pizza dough into a pretzel shape. Still, all absolutely delicious. All that washed down with a cold IPA, its safe to say any night out at Mellow Mushroom is definitely a delicious success.
