Francisca Restaurant: Latin American Dishes & Charcoal-Grilled Meats

Francisca is a charcoal chicken and meats restaurant. Also known for its authentic Latin American dishes and beverages. Francisca’s new location in Doral makes it neighbors with the nutritious eatery, Laborejo. Both proud members of Bocas Group, famous for their Latin Fusion concepts such as Bocas Grill. They strive to provide customers with innovative and creative gastronomic proposals through comfort-food dishes, evoking an exciting nostalgia and a customer service experience that will find the way to anyone’s heart.

Francisca delivers a genuinely traditional Latin American gastronomic experience. Featuring family-style dishes that are perfect to share, though you probably won’t want to. Its Latin flavors offer a taste of home to some, and a culinary vacation to others. Their specialty is charcoal chicken and meats, which are grilled low and slow to bring out their rich flavors. But Francisca has so much more to offer.

Bandeja Paisa

“Success is best cooked up with charcoal.”

The Francisca Sampler is a perfect choice to get a taste of the variety and deliciousness that awaits you. It includes: Pan De Bono, artisanal Colombian bread known for its subtle baked cheese flavor. Pork Cracklings, beefy and crunchy Pork Meat cuts. Arepitas, charcoal-roasted White Corn Cakes with a side of Nata. Tequeños, Venezuelan-style cheese sticks, served with Green Sauce. Mandocas, Corn Pretzels made with white cheese, unrefined cane sugar and plantain, served with homemade Nata and cheese. And empanadas, crescent-shaped, savory pastries. We also reccomend leaving some room for Queso Telita Hecho Al Carbon, a thick slice of traditional grilled Venezuelan Cheese.

Though Francisca is mainly known for chicken and meats, the fish is just as exquisite. The Branzino Entero Hecho Al Carbon, translating to whole charcoal-grilled Branzino is tender and full of flavor. They also serve Pargo Frito (Fried Snapper Fish). If you prefer a variety of meats, you can’t go wrong with a Colombian Bandeja Paisa, which includes pincanha, pork carcklings, and chorizo. It also comes with a side of arepitas, ripe plantains, avocado and white rice topped with egg. But you must also order a side of Arroz Mamposteao (yellow rice, cumin stir-fry, ripe plantains, smoked ham, red beans). The flavor is indescribable and we can’t get enough!

Brownie with Vanilla Ice Cream, Chantilly Cream, Caramel, Chocolate Syrup, and crushed Chocolate Cookies

Though it’s difficult with such gracious portions, try making room for dessert. The Hula Hula are crispy Churros accompanied with the topping of your preference in the shape of Hula Hoops! There’s also Marquesa De Nutella, made out of Maria cookies and Nutella Pudin. Even refreshing Barquillitas Francisca, ice-cream cones with Venezuelan flavors. Their beverages, like the Mint or Coconut Lemonade are also deliciously cooling!

Francisca Restaurant is ready to welcome you at their new location on 10802 NW 58th St, Doral, FL 33178.
