A Melt in Your Mouth Miami Spice Menu – Fi’lia Brickell & SAAM Lounge
Every foodie’s favorite time of the year is here, Miami Spice! This is the time of year that restaurants offer a variety of their best dishes for an affordable price for new guests to try and returning guests to come back for their favorites. We kicked off our Miami Spice season at Fi’lia Brickell followed by craft cocktails after at SAAM Lounge, and wow, it was a delightful experience. Some of the best food we’ve ever indulged in!
The stylish, sophisticated and scenic Italian restaurant, Fi’lia Brickell, is located inside of the SLS Brickell. Guests have the option of sitting outside with a beautiful view of downtown Brickell or inside the luxurious hotel.
To start off our Miami Spice dinner we ordered the Charred Eggplant Spread, roasted eggplant & house bread, along with the Arugula Salad, gorgonzola, dried figs, hazel nuts & parmigiano. Both appetizers are absolutely delicious. The Charred Eggplant Spread is better than any type of spread I’ve had before. It has a light feel with lots of flavor and would be incredible on anything you put it on. The Arugula Salad hit the spot for a perfect starting salad.
Next up, everyone’s favorite, Margherita Pizza. Italians have mastered the art of pizza and at Fi’lia Brickell the pizza is sure to spark your taste buds as you bite into an ooey gooey bite of their Margherita Pizza. The tomato, mozzarella and basil are balanced perfectly and cooked to perfection creating this pizza masterpiece.
Our favorite dish of the night was hands down the Grill Salmon. This was by far the best piece of fish I’ve ever tried. The salmon is grilled in such a way that it has a crispy outside with a soft inside that literally melts in your mouth. I have never experienced a fish this flavorful that melts away so easily. I highly recommend the Grill Salmon if you are ready to try the best piece of fish of your entire life.
Desserts are highly praised in Italian culture and we are here for it. The two desserts offered on their Miami Spice dinner menu are Lemon Tart, fresh lemon curd, graham tart & meringue sorbet and Chocolate & Dulce de Leche Gelato Sandwich, dulce de leche homemade gelato & chocolate pizzelle cookie. The Lemon Tart is every tart & tangy lovers dream dessert, filled with so much yumminess. The Chocolate & Dulce de Leche Gelato Sandwich is perfect for anyone with a rich sweet tooth craving some dark, sweet satisfaction.
SAAM Lounge is the best way to end the night by enjoying craft cocktails with an elegant, safari-like ambiance. Live music is being played and the staff is very friendly in catering to guests’ needs. The drinks are creatively made to provide plenty of options for every type of liquor lover. We recommend the Strawberry Wine, SAAM’s Mojito and Jasmine Margarita.
The overall experience at SLS Brickell while dining in at Fi’lia and enjoying drinks at SAAM Lounge is a wonderful curated night full of mouth-watering meals and delightful drinks. On top of providing Miami Spice menus, both places are also offering community initiatives to help give back during these times.

SLS Brickell Community Initiatives to Give Back to Miami
Fi’lia Brickell – Community Initiative
Pizza Sospeso – Beginning June 8th, those who dine in or order take out from Fi’lia will have the option of adding a pizza to their order for $10. The orders will then be fulfilled on Fridays from 5-8 p.m. when first responders, essential workers, and those who are furloughed/laid off can redeem a free pizza through the giveaway. The program will continue for six weeks and 50 pizzas will be given away every Friday.
SAAM Lounge – Community Initiative
Ask SAAM – Leading up to its opening on June 12th, SAAM Lounge has debuted “Ask SAAM.” Followers can send SAAM a list of ingredients around their house, and one of the team’s expert mixologists will send back a cocktail recipe. If the guest posts a photo of their cocktail on social media and tags SAAM Lounge and SLS Brickell, the guest can redeem a complimentary cocktail upon their next visit.
