The renovated Art Deco Cadillac Hotel & Beach Club gives us a glimpse of historic Miami art and design while keeping up with modern times. It’s also home to Bungalow By The Sea, a beachfront bar and restaurant that will have you seeing through rosé colored glasses. A place where you can sip cocktails and indulge in a seafood-inspired menu under palapas, with views of palm trees and sound of waves. And where we properly joined the National Rosé Day Celebration.

National Rosé Day Celebration at Bungalow By The Sea

On Sunday, June 9th, we made a toast to Rosé with unique, infused twists, samplings and pairings with items from the grill. The celebration calling for a special Rosé BBQ Menu in addition to their light bites, raw bar, and wood oven pizzas. Even a DJ to set the vibe, and refreshing Frosé ( frozen rosé) to keep cool.

Off-The-Grill

To start, we dug into the Lobster Tacos that were served next to its head and claw. I normally don’t like to look at what I’m eating but can’t deny the epic presentation. And in this case, judging a book by its cover wasn’t a mistake. Those grilled lobster chunks tasted even better than they looked. With grilled pineapple jalapeño sauce giving it that kick of umami.

The Shrimp Skewers were just as delicious. Marinated in lime, and mint mojo, they might’ve looked simple compared to our last dish… But each one came packed with flavor. The Stuffed Roasted Bell Peppers with quinoa and mix veggies are also a delight. Perfectly charred and smokey, this vegetarian option would satisfy any diet. But we’re thankful they made this boozy beachside barbecue inclusive to those plant-based. For sides they served, Corn On the Cob, Grilled Broccolini, and Rocket Salad with Goat Cheese.

We made sure to wash it down with our favorite rosey beverage. With different variations and recommendations from the friendly staff. Like the drink of the month, the house-made Rosé Sangria, also available at the Lobby Bar and Donna Mare. But our favorite had to be dessert! Layers of Rosé Provence, strawberry, champagne, and white chocolate trifle came stacked beautifully in a flute, and topped with orange peals and strawberry. Each layer surprising us with a new delicious flavor and creating heaven when combined.

Though National Rosé Day may be over, the celebration continues all month long! Cadillac Hotel & Beach Club will be offering the following Rosé-focused programs throughout the month of June:

• June Drink of the Month: house-made Rosé sangria available in all of the hotel’s outlets ($10)
• Bottle of UP rosé specially discounted at $35 or $10 for a glass until June 30th
• A glass of Pink Flamingo at the discounted price of $5 during Happy Hour in each hotel outlet:
• Bungalow Happy Hour (4-8pm), daily
• Lobby Bar Happy Hour (2-5pm), daily
• Open to hotel guests: every Wednesday night at 7pm, there will be a Rosé wine pairing class for $22 at the intimate Italian Donna Mare Bar — a perfect opportunity take advantage of the hotel’s extensive Rosé collection. Lite bites will be provided as well.
