Stirrings Cocktail Ingredients – A Sweet and Spicy Recipe

Written and Photos by Jessica Lewandowski

As an adult in her mid-twenties, I like to drink! What can I say? I’m young, and every occasion calls for a celebratory drink(s)(ssss) – if you catch my drift. That is not to say I don’t have good taste, however. I enjoy an expertly crafted cocktail as much as the next person. Ask me to prepare a nice cocktail myself, though, and I’m utterly useless. I am no bartender. Stirrings Cocktail sent me the ingredients needed to make a delicious margarita, and I can confidently say my cocktail-mixing game has significantly improved.

It is definitely worth it to check out the Stirrings cocktail website. They have a lot of products that go far beyond margarita mixes! There are twelve mixers total to choose from, as well as rimming garnishes (for the fancy home-bartenders), inexpensive gift sets, and bar ingredients (I’m all about the Blood Orange Bitters).

Like I mentioned, I’m utterly useless when it comes to cocktail recipes. I may be a professional pastry chef, but don’t ask me to concoct a drink recipe. Hey, nobody is perfect! Check out the recipe below for Stirrings Cocktail Classic Margarita, which uses the brand’s Margarita Cocktail Mixer and Margarita Rimmer Garnish. The tequila I chose to use was a white tequila I have been infusing with jalapeno. My margarita reflects my personality: a little sweet, a little spicy, and here to leave an impression. Happy drinking, friends!
