M.O.D Pizza – Made On Demand Family Style Pizza
MOD Pizza has one slogan and it’s, “We make pizza so we can serve people. We call it spreading MODness,”. When we entered MOD Pizza’s Parkland location we definitely caught onto the MODness. Starting with the friendly shouts of “Hello!”, to the cheerful photo collages pasted on the walls, right down to the charming managers and staff, it was easy to see why the people love the made on demand atmosphere. More than just a pizza place, M.O.D. was designed to serve the employees and customers alike. It truly takes dining on pizza to the next level. Based out of Seattle, Washington, the owners Scott and Ally Svenson wanted a family style restaurant that was not only affordable but made fresh right in front of you, and the rest is history.
Sticking to the family style theme, M.O.D. has named a handful of their made on demand pizzas after the Svensons. We definitely had to try the mega ‘Mad Dog’- made with red sauce, mozzarella, pepperoni, mild sausage, ground beef on a double layer artisan style flat dough. This new and exciting pizza was so savory that it had our mouths watering and mad when it was all gone. You can’t go wrong when you this MOD style favorite.
To keep the made on demand going, we also went with a create your own M.O.D. combination pizza. Made with fresh M.O.D. gluten-free dough, dairy-free cheese, roasted cauliflower, broccoli, mushrooms, jalapenos, sweet peppers, and pesto sauce. This veggie lovers’ perfection was a flavorful success to create. The fun is definitely in finding your own M.O.D. so stop on by and discover yours!
Last but certainly not least M.O.D. carries its own original M.O.D. desserts, with a unique name, the NO Name Cake. A chocolate cake filled with a delish buttercream center, coated with a nectarous chocolate glaze. Remind you of anything, well these MODsters snatched up an old-time recipe and added a M.O.D. twist. It was such a treat, I can see why the name didn’t matter! Don’t forget to snatch one yourself when your down at M.O.D. Pizza.
