Hutch Chicago – The Brunch-Only Cafe Of Your Dreams

Hutch Chicago – The Brunch-Only Cafe Of Your Dreams

By Josephine Layug

Not too long ago, we at Hedonist Shedonist reviewed Hutch Bistro. Lucky for us, Hutch’s owner has been so successful that he was able to open a second location: Hutch American Café in River North. This location focuses exclusively on brunch, which we could not appreciate more. Hutch Chicago has delicious brunch dishes that will have you dreaming of for days and weeks after your visit, making it impossible to not come back for more. It is a perfect spot to catch a bite with friends and family!

We started with the Nutella Dough Poppers and Totchos with Pulled Bacon and Avocado. The Nutella Dough Poppers were dreamy. Anything with Nutella is immediately a 10, and the dough was light and fluffy. The Totchos were basically tater tots served nacho-style. Yum! The pulled bacon was crisp and flavorful. The pico de gallo, truffled cheese fondue and fried egg on top of the tater tots were so good together; every forkful was a pile of deliciousness in my mouth.

We also had the Chicken Avocado Toast and Big Biscuit with Fried Chicken. The Chicken Avocado Toast was a perfectly light and healthy option with lots of flavor that filled us up. Our favorite brunch dish of the day at Hutch Chicago was definitely the Big Biscuit and Fried Chicken. It was a heaping plate of a cheddar biscuit, fried chicken, pepper gravy, sunny side up egg and bacon. I highly recommend ordering this and sharing it with a friend; or, you can order it for yourself and enjoy the leftovers!

I definitely suggest checking out Hutch Chicago American Café if you’re looking to hit up a brunch spot during the week.
