Festival of Chefs Benefiting Easter Seals Culinary Arts High School Returns

27th Annual Festival of Chefs at Nikki Beach

On November 4, 2015, South Florida’s top chefs will serve their most scrumptious culinary creations and popular artists will unveil their latest masterpieces at the 27th Annual Festival of Chefs at Nikki Beach, One Ocean Drive in Miami.

The event host is none other than Celebrity Chef Adrianne Calvo of Chef Adrianne’s Vineyard Restaurant and Wine Bar. The event kicks off with registration at 6:30 p.m. Proceeds from the Festival of Chefs will benefit Easter Seals South Florida’s Culinary Arts High School, a vocational training program for students ages 14 through 22 with autism and other disabilities.

Thus far a remarkable array of leading chefs have enlisted in this very special event to date, including: Host Chef Adrianne Calvo of Chef Adrianne’s Vineyard Restaurant and Wine Bar; Chef Assia Dahrouch of Lemoni Cafe; Chef Charles Mereday of Mereday’s Fine Dining; Chef Chad Lewark of Morton’s The Steakhouse Coral Gables; Chef Jorge Montes of Roho Kitchen; Chef Frank of Nikki Beach Miami Beach; Chef Neima R. Belancourt of Sensory Delights; Chef Kareem Anguin of The Oceanaire Seafood Room; the Seaspice Restaurant, and Chef Monia Gill along with the Culinary Arts High School Students from Easter Seals South Florida will be on hand helping to present this special event. Dessert participants to date include: Serendip-A-Tea,  along with a stellar roster of chefs, famed artist MANO who has attracted many of South Florida’s most talented artists will join in the festivities.

“People love the Festival of Chefs because they get to enjoy a variety of fine wines and dishes from Miami’s top restaurants,” said Past Event Chair Shelley Daniel Rutherford. “While at the same time, they have the satisfaction of knowing that they’re raising much needed funds to provide exceptional services so that all people with disabilities or special needs have equal opportunities to live, learn, work and play in their communities.”

In addition to a fabulous multi-course feast, the Festival of Chefs will feature an extensive silent auction of original paintings, sculptures, multimedia artworks, fine wines, luxury vacations, and upscale merchandise.
