Electric Forest Photos – The Amazing Artists

Electric Forest Photos – The Amazing Artists

Electric Forest is, without a doubt, one of the most unique festival experiences of them all. There is no other place that so seamlessly brings together music, arts, community, and positivity. Although the Insomniac event continually brings the best artists up to Rothbury, Michigan for the 4-day (now technically 8-day) event, Electric Forest has so much more to offer than great music. From the wonderful people this festival attracts, to the hidden mysteries waiting to be found among the trees, it is nearly impossible to not have an amazing time over the weekend. With the expansion into 2 weekends, Electric Forest 2017 is going down as one of the best festivals I could’ve ever dreamed of. Here are just a few awesome pictures that encapsulate what this festival is all about. These are some of our fave Electric Forest Artist Photos.

Black Tiger Sex Machine

BTSM took us to church with their new stage! Designed to match their famous tiger helmets.

Flume

Surprisingly, Flume brought the stage he took on his Skin tour. I was so happy to finally see it in person, it was well worth the wait.

The String Cheese Incident

From the fireworks to the hot air balloon dancer to the blow up cubes, this was a picture perfect moment from their set that night.

Big Gigantic and… Waka Flocka Flame?

Definitely the most surprising guests to come out during Big Gigantic’s performance, the crowd seemed to love it.

Chris Lake

Ring ring…. it’s Chris Lake! Did anyone else see him catch that unicorn and put it up in front of his decks?

Alison Wonderland

Up-and-coming female artist Alison Wonderland absolutely destroyed Tripolee. She showed her versatility as an artist by not only mixing, but getting up on stage and singing live!

Big Gigantic

Big G closed out Thursday night with a spectacular set. They went on to perform with Cherub, Autograf, and The String Cheese Incident throughout the weekend!

Jai Wolf

As a Foreign Family Collective artist, Jai Wolf brought the perfect vibes to his day time set. Everyone was getting groovy to his tunes.

Dixon’s Violin

As he is one of my personal favorite residents, I always tell my friends that you have to catch a Dixon closing set at The Observatory.

Bassnectar

One of the newest Electric Forest residents, Lorin took over Ranch Arena and closed out the second weekend with a great Sunday night set.

Soul Clap

The Forest Stage is always the best place to be for house music lovers.

Claude VonStroke

Closing out Tripolee Sunday night, Mr. Dirtybird himself outdid himself. He brought the heat, and arguably threw down an even better set than the first weekend.

Hi-Lo

Otherwise known as Oliver Heldens, performing under his alias Hi-Lo. I was pleasantly surprised to hear a completely different side to his style, Hi-Lo’s set featured deeper, darker house music. And I liked it.
