Jr’s Gourmet Burgers Wins Burger Beast Burger Brawl

Miami’s burger addicts showed up in the thousands for the sold out second annual Burger Brawl at Magic City Casino. The brawl is the brainchild of one of Miami’s most popular food bloggers, the lovable Burger Beast.  This event, unlike other burger fests was only $35, which allowed the masses to come stuff their joyous faces with some incredible burgers. That reasonable fee got you unlimited burgers, desserts and drinks for over 4 hours!

Our favorite burgers were from The Local Craft & Drink with an awesome patty topped with a cheese croquette, as well as 180 Degrees DRB’s sous vide patty with truffle sauce and a flame-torched slice of cheese.  While those 2 rocked our mouths, it was Jr’s Gourmet Burgers that won the trophy with 22% of the vote. Their innovative burger was stuffed with bacon & cream cheese, then fried in tempura and drizzled with a super sweet guava ketchup. Everyone left the Burger Brawl, bloated, blissful and excited for Burger Beast’s next event, Croquetapalooza, which returns in October.
