BOYS NOIZE – North American Tour coming to Miami

BOYS NOIZE – North American Tour coming to Miami

We couldn’t be more thrilled to announce BOYS NOIZE ’s new Album, MAYDAY, out now and featuring, Hudson Mohawke, Polica, Remy Banks, Spank Rock, Benga, etc. With over 10 years under his belt, Alex Ridha has never disappointed his crowd. The DJ and producer still holds true with each award, every recognition, his own Boys Noize Records, and a renowned reputation across the electronic music scene. After seeing the talented artist spin on Holy Ship! February 2016 for his 5am closing set, I honestly couldn’t believe my ears. The hard techno and deep bass vibrating through my chest and bouncing back from wall to wall was like nothing I’d ever experienced before. His track, Euphoria, still rings through my mind now, months later. Boys Noize is known to merge various sounds and styles together in his music, which blew me away along with the rest of the packed crowd. If you’ve never seen him live, you’re missing out!

His North American tour begins next month on October 5th and continues with a special stop in Miami on Thursday, October 13th at Heart Nightclub presented by Poplife. Be sure to snag your TICKETS before they sell out! Advanced general admission is $25 for all guests 18+ and doors open at 10PM. You won’t want to miss this one!

MIAMI, FL – Before the start of BOYS NOIZE’s 15-date North American Fall tour, there’s a first-rate treat for all of us! Danny Brown and Pell have added their voices to Mayday’s album original track “Birthday”. The party anthem was produced by Boys Noize and Hudson Mohawke and features Spank Rock.

There will be more new music and videos released before the start of the tour, including Boys Noize’s contributed music to the Oliver Stone movie Snowden, which comes out on September 16. The tour starts in Los Angeles on October 5th and will go via Vancouver and Seattle, to playing two nights in New York, followed by Miami, Boston, Suwannee Hulaween in Florida and ends with Austin’s Sound on Sound (ex-Fun Fun Fun Fest).

BOYS NOIZE performed the all new live show last month at Brooklyn’s sold-out Studio E and earlier Barcelona’s Sonar Festival had the world premierewhich you can see/share in a 35 minute clip HERE. BOYS NOIZE conceived the spectacle together with visual artists SUS BOY and LIL INTERNET, exploring a thematic narrative inspired by cyberpunk, 80’s industrial and surveillance in contemporary society.

MAYDAY is BOYS NOIZE´s most dynamic album to date. Broadcasting live from the maelstrom. Collaborations with Poliça, Hudson Mohawke, Benga, Remy Banks, Spank Rock, and some special secret guests to broaden the range while maintaining that classic rugged-n-raw BOYS NOIZE style.

The album title MAYDAY refers to the international distress signal. “MAYDAY is my warning signal against blind categorization and conformist synchronization,” says Ridha. “A call for individuality and diversity – and a tribute to outsiders.” MAYDAY is also a statement of Ridha’s commitment to the album as an art form – an almost rebellious stance these days. In an album, an artist can map the entire breadth of a particular phase of his work, capturing much more than a mere snapshot.

Alex Ridha made his DJ debut at the age of 15. Taking a teenagerʼs love of techno and house to a global scale. He established himself as one of the world’s preeminent wizards behind the decks. He was anointed one of the “Top 10 DJ’s Who Rule The World” by Rolling Stone, elected “Best Electronic Act” by Beatport 3 years in a row, and lauded by virtually every dance authority. He´s rocked the world’s biggest stages, lit up Coachella three times, stormed Lollapalooza, and headlined festivals and clubs on every continent. From Berlin techno temple Berghain to Fuji Rock in Japan and Justin Vernon’s Eaux Claires Festival in the woods of Wisconsin. All on his own terms. As an artist and producer BOYS NOIZE has created a sound that is peerless, uncompromising, and enduring – respected in the scene, banging from underground to mainstream, his work flies in the face of convention at every turn. Known for staying true to his maverick instinct and solid vision channeling a myriad of influences from the past to create something fresh, new and exciting, BOYS NOIZE released his fourth solo album “MAYDAY” on May 20th 2016, continuing with unstoppable momentum.
