If one was wondering why South Beach was so eerily quiet and where all the hot ass had disappeared to this past Friday night, March 1st, the answer was not the frigid weather but rather Billy Dean’s bodacious belated birthday bash. His humble abode, Terra Veritatis, located at 4949 Pine Tree Drive had been under construction for two years by the Capponi Construction Group and was finally unveiled in an ostentatious and glorious fashion.

Billy purchased the home in 2009 for $8 Million and spent an additional $32 Million turning the estate into a gorgeous, state-of-the-art, opulent party playground. The 2.35 acre waterfront property is beyond gorgeous and hosted around 2,000 black-tie donning guests including: Jerry Bruckheimer, Michael Bay, athletes and supermodels.

The party was insane — National YoungArts Foundation ballerinas performing in the gargantuan front yard; five different open bars stocked with top shelf liquor; giant trays of deep fried macaroni balls, sliders and other treats swooping through the ravenous guests. DJ Irie, as usual, kept the crowd moving with his bumping bass. The estate is outfitted with a tall, Japanese villa style, pool house that can double as a club or impromptu orgy room 😉  It has a sleek onyx-and-granite bar, and plenty of large comfy beds for whatever the heart or body desires.

We, unfortunately, did not have a chance to meet and thank the beloved Billy Dean.  We will be sure to thank him and offer a proper welcome to the neighborhood next time around.
