We Got to Preview The Mowgli’s Newest Album, and We Love It
The indie-rock group, THE MOWGLI’S will release their new album–WHERE’D YOUR WEEKEND GO?—September 30 on Photo Finish Records.
For WHERE’D YOUR WEEKEND GO? the six-piece joined forces with producer Mike Green (Paramore, All Time Low) and created an album vocalist Katie Jayne Earl describes as “… the truest representation of who we are, not just as individuals, but as a band. It is the most honest thing we’ve ever done.”
This past week, I got to join the band for a private album listening party at The Record Parlor in Hollywood. First off, the venue is awesome. If you like music even a little, you have to check out this epic record store. I had a ball digging through records. The event featured sushi, hors d’oeuvres, a full open bar, and of course, music.
THE MOWGLI’S will kick off their “WHERE’D YOUR WEEKEND GO” fall headlining U.S. tour (see below) on Saturday, September 17 at KAABOO Del Mar Festival in San Diego. Can’t wait to check them out there, too!
Frequently called “the quintessential California band,” THE MOWGLI’S– known for their laid-back mix of sunny West Coast pop, garage rock and 60’s Laurel Canyon folk sound. THE MOWGLIS’ uplifting, indie-rock and universal message of positivity and love resonate with audiences all over the world. Their debut album Waiting for the Dawn (Photo Finish Records) premiered at #4 on the Billboard Heatseekers Chart. You’ll be thrilled when you hear their newest stuff.
