The Forge – A Sultry Miami Dinner Launches New Menu Items

The Forge is a Miami Institution. It is one of Miami’s oldest structures sporting a castle like interior and furniture once owned by Napoleon. The modern steakhouse is owned by Shareef Malnik and under the helm of Executive Chef Julia Doyne. The Forge dates back to the 1920s and walking through the doors into this haven of plush indulgence seems to elevate its guests. The ambiance is triumphant, the service impeccable and the entire experience a bit mesmerizing. I was honored to take my date’s Forginity.
With more than 30,000 bottles in their nationally-acclaimed Wine Cellar, The Forge carries one of the largest wine collections in the country, including rare bottles that are almost impossible to track down. The restaurant also features progressive self-service wine technology with 64 wines by the glass, and a full bar serving craft cocktails and draft beers.
New desserts have been added to the decadent roster of indulgences including The Forge Dome with chocolate cake, banana bread ice cream, vanilla walnuts and pineapple sauce ($13).
The Forge’s dessert soufflé offerings would not be complete without the “off-the-menu” Birthday Cake Soufflé ($20).
The Forge will impress your date, business client, family member or out of town guests. There are very few spots in Miami that will imbue one with such a sense of exquisite Regality. Even Napoleon would be impressed…
