The Coral Springs Museum of Art Host Artist Daniel Winn
The Coral Springs Museum of Art hosted Artist Daniel Winn in his new exhibition called “Metamorphosis – The Beginning”. The Coral Springs Museum of Art is home to a vast amount of astounding works of art. In honor of the men and women who’ve served our country, the museum will host their very own Art for Warriors exhibition starring Daniel Winn.
Daniel Winn’s exhibition “Metamorphosis – The Beginning” will focus on his Vietnam heritage and contemporary cultural influences of his home in the United States. Winn’s goal is to “explore the basic nature of human existence and examine the relationship between free-will and providence, between self-determination and the universal plan”, notes the website.
The exhibition of Daniel Winn began October 11th with an Artist Reception. Daniel himself was there for a meet and greet. Winn spoke on the meaning behind his artwork which he calls the metamorphosis of life. Each painting for Winn represents each chapter of life into the metamorphosis.
Winn’s paintings stem from his background in reconstructive surgery and his studies on knowledge and existential surrealism. Using nothing but oil on a canvas, Winn makes it a point that each piece adds to the meaning of the artwork itself. His uses of the apple in many of his paintings represent the idea of knowledge and the creation, that the apple melting is knowledge melting above us that will disappear if we do not embrace every opportunity. Much like his use of bubbles, expressing that everything happens for a reason in life. He calls each painting visual language.

The exhibition will run from September 29th through November 17th and is open to the public.
