On Thursday November 26th, Bagatelle Miami Beach will feature a pre fix 3 course dinner menu. Bazi: On Thursday, November 26, enjoy Chef Michael Pirolo’s bold flavors and exciting Asian-inspired dishes from 5PM – 10PM. Meat Market: Lincoln Road’s sizzling hot steakhouse, will offer several à la carte dinner specials for Thanksgiving on Thursday, November 26. Priced at $50 per person (excluding beverages, tax and gratuity), the prix-fixe three-course meal will begin with roasted pumpkin soup with toasted seeds and crème fraiche, followed by Executive Chef Adrienne Grenier’s roasted turkey breast, complete with mashed potatoes, Brussels sprouts, mushrooms, and cranberry chutney. South Seas Island Resort Celebrates Thanksgiving with Family-Focused Beach Turkey Trot, Hermit Crab Racing, Archery & More
South Seas Island Resort on Southwest Florida’s Captiva Island is hosting a fun-filled Thanksgiving weekend with a myriad of holiday-centric activities and an island-inspired holiday buffet. From Wednesday, Nov. 25th, through Saturday, Nov. 28th, guests of all ages can enjoy everything from a Pie Eating Competition and Turkey Trot Beach Walk to a Hermit Crab Racing Bowl and Archery Challenge, among other activities.
The festivities begin Wednesday, Nov. 25th, with a Pie Eating Competition for kids and adults alike overlooking the resort’s pools. The evening brings a “Giving Thanks for Dolphins” event where together with the on-site Sanibel Sea School guests will create a magical luminary depicting a dolphin pod. A stargazing activity with telescopes set on unique treasures of the Milky Way concludes the evening before the big day. Thanksgiving morning guests can participate in a Turkey Trot Beach Walk from the resort’s South Beach and ending at Sunset Cove, a walk spanning two-and-a-half-miles of white-sand beaches. The fun continues throughout the day with guided eco paddleboarding tours through surrounding mangrove forests, yoga, kayaking, and more.
A highlight of the holiday weekend at South Seas is the “Thanksgiving Day Celebration Feast” on Thursday, Nov. 26th, from 2 to 7 p.m. in the Captiva Ballroom. Open to the public, this elaborate buffet highlights traditional Thanksgiving favorites with local island fare. Starters include options such as Sweet Potato Carrot Bisque with Cilantro Emulsion and Citrus Sour Cream; Local Half Shell Oysters with Brined Horseradish, Sherry Mignonette and Artisan Hot Sauces; and Citrus Poached Shrimp with Crabby Mary Cocktail Sauce or Cajun Reomoulade. Entrees include a Roasted Thanksgiving Turkey with Classic Sage Sausage Stuffing, Turkey Pan Gravy and Orange Cranberry Relish; a Rosemary Garlic Rubbed Prime Rib of Beef with Au Jus, Fresh Horseradish and Horseradish Sauce; and Herb Mascarpone Crusted Salmon with Arugula Spätzle, Roasted Wild Mushroom Salad and Roasted Tomato Butter Sauce. The feast ends on a sweet note with dessert stations such as an interactive holiday cupcake station featuring Red Velvet, Carrot Spice and Chocolate Cupcakes. After a day of feasting and activities, Friday afternoon, Nov. 27th, brings an interactive Turkey Bowl football challenge at the resort’s King’s Crown Lawn with a chance to win prizes, and tailgating tents set with arts & crafts. Later, guests can relax seaside under the stars with a double movie feature and s’mores. Afterwards, teens can compete in a fun glow-in-the-dark game of Glow Volleyball on the beach.
The weekend’s activities conclude on Saturday, Nov. 28th, with an Archery Challenge where guests of all ages can test their skills for the chance to earn prizes and learn about the Calusa Indians that once walked the island while hunting by bow & arrows. On Thursday, November 26, 2015, Michael Mina 74, StripSteak by Michael Mina, Scarpetta and Vida, all at the iconic Fontainebleau Miami Beach, will offer Thanksgiving specials. With a range of different cuisines to choose from, there will be something for everyone, and plenty to be thankful for.
StripSteak by Michael Mina, Fontainebleau’s newest restaurant is offering a Thanksgiving a prix-fixe dinner for $75 per person, excluding tax and gratuity, from 6 p.m. – 11 p.m. Guests will savor roasted baby beets with dried cranberries, hazelnuts, and goat cheese, topped with walnut vinaigrette followed by roasted turkey breast with turkey leg confit, and chorizo cornbread stuffing; and for dessert, pumpkin pie topped with cinnamon whipped cream and spiced caramel sauce.
Scarpetta, the hotel’s acclaimed Italian eatery will offer a three-course prix-fixe dinner for $75 per person, excluding tax and gratuity, from 6 p.m. – 11 p.m. Guests will enjoy butternut squash soup fregato with toasted focaccia and roasted mushrooms followed by the roast turkey porchetta with cranberry mostarda and brussels sprouts. Dessert will feature pumpkin tiramisu, crafted with spiced pumpkin mascarpone and served beside Marsala soaked lady fingers, mocha espuma, and cinnamon gelato.
Michael Mina 74, will offer the regular lunch menu at the bar with football games airing from 11:30 a.m. – 6 p.m. and a special Thanksgiving specials offered from 6 p.m. – 11 p.m. A hearty turkey breast roulade with confit leg ($32), sage stuffing, brussels sprouts, cranberry sauce, and turkey gravy will entice guests along with a mouthwatering pumpkin cheesecake ($10) topped with spiced Jamaican anglaise and orange compote.
