Ingredients from Table 55’s menu are sourced locally from farms throughout South Florida. To name a few, they are currently:
Sun Fresh Farms
Harpke’s Family
Hammocks Green
Paradise Farms
The farms deliver produce the day of and their seafood is also wild caught and delivered every day. The kitchen restocks inventory from the farms only when they are running low to ensure the guests receive the freshest bite!
Their Carribean Conch Chowder was definitely something we’ve never tried before as it wasn’t your average creamy chowder! It’s made Red Manhattan style with a tomatoe-based broth served with a side of Sherry Wine for you to top it off just a smidge to complete the flavor experience. This light and hearty soup will effortlessly take you back to the Carribean.
Next to the Conch Chowder, we also helped ourselves to their Grilled Hass Avocado served with incredibly light, crispy corn tortilla chips! The crumbles of salty feta added the perfect amount of saltiness over the pico de gallo. Their Burrata Salad was insanely fresh in every bite, it’s as if the the heirloom tomatoes were picked just outside the kitchen and burrata balls had just been made the morning of!
Moving on to the entrees, Table 55’s seafood was also up to par on the wild caught factor! Their scallops are so huge and meaty that the Seared Jumbo Scallops dish literally tastes as if it came fresh out the water. Their Butter Poach Salmon was also ginormous and grilled to flakey perfection. Trust us in trusting their seafood because these dishes are definitely not made to skimp out on!
To finish it all off, we indulged in their seasonal Pumpkin Pie who’s wow factor was a large dallop of fresh angelic whipped cream. Yum, so moussey! A light, velvety, Chocolate Crunch Bar topped with two miniature chocolate dipped, vanilla ice cream cones. And a scoop of sweet Mango Sorbet sprinkled with grated pistachios. The Lavender Lemon Martini elegantly paired with our last bites, it’s the perfect girly drink! You get a hint of lavender upon first sip, experience a slight bitter from the lemon peel, and finish off with an airy sweet lemon tang. Generally speaking, the food at Table 55 was absolutely wonderful quality.
