Summer Champagne Splash – Humpday Bubbly Hour at Villa Azur

Villa Azur in Miami Beach is a tranquil luxury French restaurant that has now begun hosting their Summer Champagne Splash every Wednesday from 5-8 pm. This lux happy hour offers 2 hours of free flow bubbles of Moet & Chandon for 35$, or a 2 hour luxury tasting of Dom Perignon, Cristal, Ruinart, and Moet Rose for 55$, both paired with complimentary canapes.

We opted for both and surely felt the bubbles flowing as we tasted these stellar champagnes. Our sommelier made all the difference in our experience. He was extremely knowledgeable of each champagne and not only did we have a fantastic time, it was also informative learning how the cultivating of the grapes affects each flavor of the champagne. Our favorite by far was the Vintage 2004 Dom Perignon, it has a taste like no other with 13 years of aging. There are so many champagnes out there in this world, treat yourself and come try refined elegance in a bottle.

The complimentary canapes were quite delectable, with tomato mozzarella and salmon tartar atop a soft and flaky pastry and soft artisan bread with Prosciutto ham.

The ambiance was serene and pleasant, with soft natural lighting pouring in from the courtyard and luscious white curtains blowing gently in the wind. It is the perfect way to relax and unwind as you make your way through the work week.
