Spicy Miami Dishes for National Pepper Month

We here in Miami love it when things are hot, wether it be our weather, attire, dates, sex life and even our food and drinks. In honor of National Pepper Month, two of South Beach’s best restaurants are serving up some seriously Spicy Miami dishes and cocktails to warm up this brutal Miami winter.

Red, the Steakhouse

Executive Chef Peter Vauthy of the South Beach hotspot Red, the Steakhouse, is turning up temperatures for National Pepper Month by adding one of the world’s hottest peppers, the ghost pepper, to select dishes.  Patrons of the popular ‘South of Fifth’ steakhouse should proceed with caution when ordering the Mussels Diavolo and the Lobster Pasta Diablo — the ghost pepper is the main ingredient in their sizzling sauces!

Want to kick the heat up a notch?  Spice lovers can wash it all down with the Spicy Sipper, one of RED’s signature martinis made with Grey Goose vodka, fresh pineapple and lime juice, agave nectar and mint.  Fiery fresno peppers are sprinkled on top give it that extra zing!
