We have all been on bar crawls, if you are thinking you have not then you probably just don’t remember it. The pertinent question is whether you have been on a restaurant crawl? South of spice is going to kick off the famed Miami Spice Restaurant month with a special event centered around the stellar restaurants located in the South of Fifth Neighborhood (SoFi). Crawlers will interact with the city’s most incredible chefs as they give a sneak peak and sampling of their Spice menus.  Spirits and wine experts will also be present sampling and showcasing their fascinating libations.

On Tuesday, July 28th from 6:00 PM – 10:00 PM, ticket holders will have access to participating restaurants.  At each location a designated area will be reserved.  Ticket holders can meet the chefs, indulge in a sampling of their menus and have a custom created cocktail or glass of wine. Participating restaurants include Red, the Steakhouse, Tongue and Cheek, The Local House, Smith and Wollenskys, Fogo de Chao, Cibo Wine Bar, TiramesU and Red Ginger. Additional restaurants will be announced shortly.

Local artist will be showcased throughout the event as well. Artist include Award winning NY Times Best Selling Author Gerald Posner, Famed Artists Lebo and well known TV producer and artist, Gustavo Tonelli.

Tickets go on sale in June 1st. Tickets will be available to South of Fifth residence for a special price of $35.  (The general public price is $45.) Tickets can be purchased here.

“South of Spice” will benefit Community Initiatives Foundation and their EAT SMART initiatives to creative healthy food programs for inner city kids of Miami-Dade.
