Foodies can enjoy the most celebrated food in South Florida on Friday, June 17, 2016, when South Florida’s Taste of the Nation for No Kid Hungry returns, this time to Soho Studios in Wynwood, from 7PM to 10PM.
The annual tasting event will feature the area’s top chefs, sommeliers and mixologists united for a cause: making sure all children in this country get the healthy food they need, every day. Proceeds from the event benefit No Kid Hungry’s work to end childhood hunger in America.

No child should go hungry in America, but 1 in 5 kids will face hunger this year. Using proven, practical solutions, No Kid Hungry is ending childhood hunger today by ensuring that kids start the day with a nutritious breakfast and families learn the skills they need to shop and cook on a budget. When we all work together, we can make sure kids get the healthy food they need. No Kid Hungry is a campaign of national anti-hunger organization Share Our Strength.
In 2015, South Florida’s Taste of the Nation for No Kid Hungry raised enough to help feed children in need more than 900,000 healthy meals. Local beneficiaries include Florida Impact, FLIPANY and Feeding South Florida.
