Weekends in Miami leave no shortage of activities to indulge in, but let me get your ear about this fascinating cabaret presented by Quixotic Cirque Nouveau at the opulent Faena Theater! We adore Faena’s shows! Sensatia activated all 6 of my senses- the sixth sense being that I sense this show will be a long-standing hit for Miami! Miami is chock full of hedonists and shedonists, and Sensatia breathlessly enveloped my eyes and ears with beauty and rhythm right from the beginning. From the plush velvet red curtains and sparkling chandelier, to the glittering dancer costumes and sultry electro beats- I simply could not get enough of this feast for the senses.

Sensatia follows the story of a ballerina and violinist whom, like many of us has experienced at one point or another, have become bored and uninspired with their day to day routine. They chance upon an enchanting new muse who leads them to the backstage of a whimsical fantasy cabaret. It is here they find their passion come alive again before our eyes. Quixotic has done an impeccable job of fusing performance arts such as fire dancing, aerial hoop, and ballet with modern multimedia visuals and projection to create the ultimate immersive experience for the audience. Every aspect was delightful. The attention to detail with the costumes, lighting, and sound was second to none. We recommend attending with a significant other or your best pals, as there are some scintillating and steamy acts that got me all hot and bothered!

Sensatia also offers a dinner experience prior to the show on Friday and Saturday nights so you can REALLY pleasure all your senses. Faena has curated a prix fixe, three-course menu with scrumptious dishes like fresh Golden Snapper Ceviche, Malbec Braised Short Rib, and a tempting tower of decadent desserts. Renowned chef Paul Qui created the “taste” element of Sensatia, with a delectable small bite dessert passed out to enthralled viewers during the show- a delightful and thoughtful touch that only further added to this amazing experience so far! Each Dinner Show ticket also includes two glasses of wine or prosecco, cheers to that and to an amazing show!
