Prosperity Brewers Beer Analysis
Walking inside Prosperity Brewers, you’ll notice large wooden tables, barrels, and chalkboards. The bathrooms also have chalk walls, and there is an ATM, jukebox, Direct TV.
Dom Peri, co-founder, made the tables himself. The flight boards were made by a friend who used old barrels.
Everything in Prosperity Brewers is handmade and handcrafted. The nano-brewery creates their beer from one barrel, which makes two kegs. Talk about quality over quantity. When the brewery opens in 3-4 weeks, there will be ten original beers and one guest cider. The nitro coffee also shows some home love as it’s made with local roasted coffee beans.
I was able to experience an exclusive tasting of five beers. Below are my thoughts and ratings for all you barflies.
1. White Denim Wit
ABV: 3 out of 5 stars (5.2%)
Smells like: Lemon Pledge, extra light
Tastes like: A day at the beach
Overall: 3 out of 5 stars
2. Circus Bear Kvass (4.5%)
Note: Kvass is an old, Russian style of beer. This version is made with fresh rye bread instead of old rye bread, a.k.a. how the traditional ones were once concocted.
ABV: 2 out of 5 stars
Smells like: Grapefruit, raspberry
Tastes like: Raspberry plum fruit salad
Overall: 3 out of 5 stars
3. Pumpkin English Strong Ale (9.1%)
ABV: 4 out of 5 stars
Smells like: Halloween and spice, but not for basic bitches
Tastes like: Not your average pumpkin beer
Dom: “I need to pick out my costume.”
Overall: 5 out of 5 stars
4. Mexican Hot Chocolate Imperial Stout
ABV: 5 out of 5 stars (11.5%)
Smells like: Someone dropped some spices in hot chocolate
Tastes like: Adult powdered cocoa
Overall: 5 out of 5 stars (my favorite!)
For those who want a quick spot to grab happy hour or to spend a day as a lush, Prosperity Brewers has you covered. From light beers for those easing into drinking brews to dark beers for experienced connoisseurs, there is something for everyone.
