Orilla Bar & Grill Brings a Taste of Argentina
Orilla Bar & Grill is now open at Urbanica The Euclid Hotel located at 426 Euclid Avenue. This expansion of the Urbanica Hotel’s portfolio is located on the famed Fifth Street corridor in Miami Beach’s South of Fifth neighborhood. Orilla (O-ri-ya) offers a menu of South American & European-inspired global cuisine by executive chef Fernando Trocca.
“I am thrilled to bring a piece of Buenos Aires to the Miami Beach community and beyond,” said Chef Trocca. “The beach has always felt like home and I am excited that locals and visitors can now enjoy delicious food in a chic and casual setting just blocks from the ocean.”
Known for his international work in cities such as London, Mexico, New York, Chef Trocca has used these experiences to lead the kitchen and drive the menu. Divided into sections from small to large plates, the menu features a variety of dishes including: Black Rice with Squid and Bacon, Prime Rib and Charred Eggplant with mixed herbs, Za’atar and croutons. A creative cocktail menu curated by Inés De Los Santos, a buzzy Buenos Aires bartender, will rotate seasonally to feature fresh ingredients using modern techniques. Standout cocktails will include the Orilla Spritz, Ma Cherie and Cynar Julep.
Brooklyn-based pastry chef from Buenos Aires, Chula Galvez complements the savory menu with her culinary confections. Galvez prides her success with creating flavors and experiences through beautifully presented pastries created with new textures and nutrients.
Following the hotel’s modern design, Orilla features 80-seats in a 2,000 square-foot eatery giving a laid back, beachy atmosphere with urban decor inspired by the ocean, nature and ample amount of natural light. Located on Euclid and 5th street, Orilla provides spectacular views of an open kitchen churning out a flavorful menu in an indoor and outdoor setting with plant-filled mural walls. The extensive bar features custom-designed bar stools and an extensive wine list highlighting top wines from Argentina’s Mendoza and San Juan regions.
