NOVIKOV Kicks Off Miami Spice!
NOVIKOV located in Miami, just a little walk from Bayfront Park, is hosting one of the best Miami Spice lunches available. The lunch is three courses for $23 per person. The menu includes an appetizer, entrée, and dessert. NOVIKOV has such a marvelous dining area and seafood bar, that it provides the perfect location for a Miami Spice lunch. To begin, I started with the NOVIKOV salad. The salad consists of avocado, cherry tomatoes, micro greens, arugula, iceberg lettuce, spinach, and a black truffle vinaigrette. The first course was absolutely amazing and I was blown away by the many flavors of the salad. My colleague and I decided to order the Wok Salmon with Black Bean Sauce and Eggplant and Tomato Salad for our entrees.

Time for the main courses! The eggplant was absolutely life changing! Normally I like eggplant, but I am not a huge fan. This dish gave me a brand new opinion about eggplant. All of a sudden, I realized I love eggplant! The eggplant is fresh fried in the wok, and comes with romaine lettuce, tomatoes, and a ponzu glaze sauce. The eggplant has a crispy outside with a soft warm inside. The Wok Salmon with Black Bean Sauce was also incredible. The dish has the wok salmon, black bean sauce, micro greens, pepper, garlic, and raw onion.

Finally, dessert time! I ordered the Umeshu Black Forest Cake, which was honestly the best decision of the night. The cake has cherries, gold flakes, and light icing, with flavors of dark cherry chocolate bliss. My colleague and I were melting while eating our dessert!

Experience
Overall, I was mesmerized with my lunch experience and could not stop thinking about the eggplant! The service was spectacular and the food was fabulous. That is the best lunch you will get in Miami for $23, such a deal! I am already thinking about when I will be returning for their savory lunch.

NOVIKOV is open for lunch Monday to Friday from 12pm-3pm, and for dinner Sunday-Thursday from 6pm-11pm and Friday and Saturday from 6pm-12am. Reservations recommended. Try out their Miami Spice Lunch Menu or their dinner menu, either way you will not regret it! Happy Miami Spice!
