The Famous NoMad Bar Takeover of Matador Bar
The NoMad Bar Takeover goes down Thursday, September 22, at 9pm. The expert barmen at Matador Bar will partner up with the master concoctors of one of New York’s most popular bars, The NoMad Bar, for the next installment of Matador Bar’s hugely popular Third Thursday Takeover Series. Creating imaginative and expertly crafted libations, the unique one-night-only menu will be inspired by The NoMad Bar’s signature cocktails.
Award-winning Bar Director of The NoMad Bar, Leo Robitschek, will be joining Matador Room in the upcoming Third Thursday Takeover Series. Leo has been with the Made Nice team since 2005 and has played a significant role in the development of the group’s cocktail program at both Eleven Madison and The NoMad properties. Since opening The NoMad and Elephant Bar in 2012, Leo and his team have been recipients of numerous Tales of the Cocktail Spirited Awards and the James Beard Award for Outstanding Bar Program. Leo’s beverage program at The NoMad celebrates classically-focused cocktails, while delving into two new arenas: festive, large-format drinks and a selection of reserve cocktails crafted with rare spirits.
After successful bar takeovers with The London EDITION’s Punch Room and New York’s Dante, Employees Only, and Attaboy, The Miami Beach EDITION’s Matador Bar joins forces with The NoMad Bar on September 22. Based in New York, The NoMad Bar is centrally located inside the NoMad Hotel in the Big Apple.
