Nikki Beach Brunch and Rolled Ice Cream
Sundays call for brunch and Miami Beach is no exception to that tradition. Nikki Beach offers an amazing buffet brunch and have now introduced rolled ice cream to their menu. The buffet includes an array of different stations, including cold cuts, a carving station, paella, sushi, pasta, fruits, custom omelette, Nutella awaffles, crepes, and more decadent desserts. All of this unlimited deliciousness starts at just $49! Aside from the vast array of food, Nikki Beach also offers live entertainment and amazing cocktails. They have live dancers and a live D.J. Setting the mood for the perfect brunch.
The friendly staff at Nikki Beach seated my friend and I under a big white umbrella, in view of the dancers and D.J. We decided to order some drinks to get brunch started. I ordered the mango caipirinha and my friend got the strawberry margarita. The drinks were perfect for the hot Miami weather!
We started our feast with the cold cuts, cheese, sushi, and fresh fruit stations. So much food to choose from! All of it was delicious. We tried to take small bites so we can try a little bit of everything but it was hard resisting!
Our second plate started at the carving station. We had the option to chose between smoked ham, pork, and brisket. They were all so fresh and tender! It was hard trying to eat only a little.
The plate slowly started to fill up with pasta and more pasta. My favorite pasta were the little ravioli-type balls filled with pear and topped with Alfredo sauce. I thought I wasn’t going to like them because of the pear but… OMG… was it amazing!
For our third plate we went straight for the Nutella waffles and crepes! Yes it was a little embarrassing going back to our table three different times with our plates full, but the sacrafice was worth it! I got the Nutella waffles, which were so soft and fluffy. The Nutella drizzled on top, with extra Nutella drizzle upon my request, and strawberries added the final touches to this beauty. So simple yet delicious! The crepes were also amazing. They were filled with berry jam and topped with some more fresh strawberries.
Along the way we ordered a second round of cocktails. I got the coconut caipirinha and my friend got the strawberry mojito. Again, they were amazing and perfect for the hot sunny weather.
As if we hadn’t eaten enough…. it was time for dessert! We were so excited to try the rolled ice cream and we got the chance to see it get made! I tried the Oreo and fresh strawberry flavors. It was awesome watching them get made and even better trying it.
Aside from the rolled ice cream Nikki Beach has their own bakery offering an array of desserts. We tried the merengue, cranberry scones, coconut pastries, chocolate truffle, and caramel cake. So much sugar and deliciousness! The ice cream had to be my favorite of them all. The perfect ending to an amazing brunch!
