Marion Miami – Sultry & Festive Brickell Dining
Apparently dinner is not just about dinner anymore and we applaud this new trend. Marion Miami seduces one immediately upon entry into its sultry lair. Your eyes expand wide, your ears are soothed by the eclectic and divine soundtrack of DJ Hush Money and the insanely gorgeous bar beckons you. Billed as an Epicurean Love Affair we definitely fell in love this past Thursday night, with the cuisine, the ambiance and a 6’1 blonde.
Marion Miami is a restaurant and cocktail lounge located in Brickell. Every day is a celebration at Marion, as the vibe-dining concept takes guests on a unique epicurean journey that is transformed into a high-energy atmosphere. Guests enjoy a diverse menu of contemporary American fare with Asian influences and an incredible selection of handcrafted cocktails and imported wines.
Conceptualized by renowned interior designer, Robert McKinley, Marion Miami creates an intimate atmosphere for guests, with a classic and elegant European-style backdrop. Weekdays promise an affordable gourmet lunch buffet for both local professionals and afternoon gourmands alike. I attended the Thursday Soiree and it is definitely Brickell’s hottest weekly dinner party!
What starts out as a sexy dinner gets real rowdy. Light shows, sexy sax man and glitter sparklers for the dancing patrons. This place was packed Thursday night past midnight and everyone was having a jubilant time. Marion Miami is more than just dinner, it is an experience.
Begin your wonderful journey with the Ginger Samurai libation comprised of – Gin Nolet’s, Yuzu Juice, Fresh Ginger Juice, Homemade Carrot Juice, Lemon, Angostura Bitters. The carrot juice is fresh and it is about time we added carrots to our liquor menus!
Our fave dish of the night was the Tuna Tostada – Grilled Tortilla, Truffle Aioli, Tomatoes, Jalapeno. Thsi dish was succulent, crisp and ever so lovely. The contrasting textures and fresh tuna meld together for precious bites.
Of course Marion Miami has sexy sushi options to slide into your dates beautiful mouth. The Hamachi Jalapeno Soy Paper, Chopped Hamachi, Jalapeño, Cilantro, Wasabi Mayo, Cucumber, Avocado is a nice mix of one of our fave fishes and some welcome spice.
Another dish that blew us away was the Miso Roasted Cauliflower. This was probably the best cauliflower I ever had! The miso sauce hypnotized my mouth and yes I did slurp up all the sauce from the bowl. Not Sowwy!!!
The masterful cherry on top of this glorious experience was the Tokyo Banana – Coconut Ice Cream, Salty Caramel, Pop Corn. I was stuffed beyond belief , but still managed to finish the entire plate!! The banana bread is not too heavy on banana and pairs so well with the pop corn and coconut ice cream. A MUST ORDER for your climax! After or during dinner feel free to mingle or dance the night away with a beautiful crowd of people. God Bless Miami!
