Leonardo da Vinci Historical Wine Dinner at Toscana Divino
Toscana Divino continues to bring some of the most innovative dining concepts to Miami. Following the success of their Caterina de Medici Historical wine dinner they threw another one in the honor of the Master Leonardo da Vinci.
We took a figurative time machine back 500 years to dine on some of Leonardo’s favorite things from exotic eel and frog to what are now staples of Tuscan cuisine like a mind blowingly delicious Wild Boar. Each dish was paired with an incredible Tuscan wine from Frescobaldi Wineries.
The Frescobaldi family started in wine production in Florence at the beginning of the 1300s and produced some of the highest quality wine during the Renaissance. By the 1500’s, the Frescobaldi wines were served at the tables of the Pope and to Leonardo da Vinci himself.
The wine, cuisine, company and dinner were all marvelous. Check out the video and photos below:
