Dive Into the Aquatic Fairytale of Imagine 2016

Back for its third year in a row, and better than ever Imagine 2016 has made some major changes and its all for the better. Escape to your wildest imagination at the Atlanta Motor Speedway August 26-28.

After a long, long…long buildup (at least for the ATLiens) Imagine 2016 is right around the corner. Honestly Imagine 2016 has pretty much been blowing up my social media almost immediately after Imagine 2015 ended. Not that I’m complaining, its perfectly clear that the amazing people at Iris have had a lot on their plate planning this event (and having a baby! Congrats Madeleine & Glenn!!), and its looking like our minds are going to be blown at the production and sheer magnitude of Imagine 2016 compared to previous years.

With the disappointing downfall of Tomorrow World, Atlanta became in dire need of that really huge, amazing production, all around bomb-ass festival we’ve all grown to love and expect for our summer. Imagine has really stepped up their game to take that place and be the staple South East festival. Making a name for them these past few years Imagine 2016 saw their opportunity and really took it up a notch. Going from the music grounds near and at the Masquerade (R.I.P you beautiful venue), Imagine has moved to the more spacious Atlanta Motor Speedway, allowing enough room for camping this year which is bound to bring in more festivalgoers.

The lineup is one of the best I’ve seen this year, in true ATL-HOE fashion Imagine is bringing out the bangers this year including Adventure Club, Borgore, Excision, Disco Biscuits and even some classics like my personal fave Benny Benassi. Plus a few local artists like my buddy DJ White Rhino. And seriously so many more, check out the full lineup.

Imagine 2016 is the festival we all need. Known to bring awesome visuals and great production value, the “Aquatic Fairytale” theme really grabs my attention. Past years had performers in bubbles, aerialists, giant fish bowls and mermaids a-plenty – I’m so excited to see what they have in store this year with more space. People have been waiting for Imagine 2016 for a long time, and I’m so pumped to see how everything will play out. Imagine will truly be around for a long, long time.
