Miami Beach can be ridiculously expensive, but there a few reasonably priced ways to get your eat and drink on. Especially during the most blissful part of the day, Happy Hour Miami Beach! One would not imagine that a swanky & popular Italian South Beach restaurant would be one of these options, but alas it is true.
Il Mulino New York South Beach, the pristine white & chic Italian enclave located in the South of Fifth (SoFi) neighborhood in South Beach, offers patrons daily happy hour from 4 to 7 p.m. Guests can enjoy a refreshing selection of specially priced wines, beers and cocktails including $6 Chianti, Pinot Grigio, Rosé and Prosecco; $4 Peroni, Coors Light, Grolsch, Amstel Light, and Heineken, and half off the cocktail list and well drinks. $6 Italian wines do in fact induce happiness.
I visited on Friday to celebrate a “William Wallace” moment with a friend and was very impressed. Ivan at the bar was incredibly accommodating, very chill and nice to look at too. The Brusco Chianti was marvelous and so smooth.
The Ravioli ai Porcini (2 pieces), and red spicy sauce Mussels were a terrific partner for our vino. Definitely ask for the bread to soak up all the scrumptious sauces. Guests can grab a seat at the beautifully designed marble bar and order from the new Bar Bites menu featuring Calamari Fritti, Ricotta Meatballs (4 pieces) and an assorted cheese plate. All these delectable bar snacks are available for $10 each.
The cocktail menu highlights include Something with Cucumber ($8.50 happy hour price) with Atlantico Private Cask Rum, Bianco vermouth, cucumber-mint cordial and fresh lime, In Love with Coco ($8 happy hour price) with Avion silver, honeydew melon and Malibu coconut rum, and The Woman in the Red Dress ($9 happy hour price) with Elyx Vodka, Perrier Jouet Champagne, Campari, fresh lemons and raspberries.
