South Florida BBQ Season Officially Kicks Off at Grillin N Chillin Wynwood
What better way to enjoy this cool, sunny weather than a backyard BBQ?! That is exactly what is going down in Wywood, Sunday, April 2 . . . It’s Grillin N Chillin Wywood! Think BBQ spare rigs, southern brisket, pulled pork sandwiches topped with homemade BBQ sauce. My mouth is watering already. Grillin N Chillin has the best sun-kissed recipes from across the country.
This family friendly festival is taking place in the heart of Wynwood and also celebrating 3 years of bringing you the best of BBQ. Come on by and watch as the Art District gets reinvented overnight into a full-blown countryside barbecue. The Kitchen Lab will premiere pit masters on stage sharing their very own secrets that will bring out the BBQ chef in all of us. There will be a Grillin N Chillin BBQ Cook Off. Kids activities will fire up the morning in the Family Fun Zone with obstacle courses, face painting, inflatables and more. Adults can enjoy beer and cocktails at The Pit, our pop – up music lounge. BBQ, beer, sides and dessert are available all day long from variety of different vendors including our very own in house BBQ, debuting this year! Come try a variety of distinctive styles from Memphis, Texas or Kansas City barbecue to the well-known Brazilian Churrasco and Argentine Parrillada. As the name suggests, the event offers a chill atmosphere where even your dogs can play in their own playground and Bone Bar. Be sure to come early for Yappy Hour from 12pm-2pm.

Check out HOPE Express and their pets looking for a forever home. They are also partnering with Debris Free Oceans and Volunteer Cleanup to embrace the principle of Zero-Waste, raise environmental awareness and protection.
The price of food will vary, but the event is free to get in for kids 12 and under; General Admission $15.
