FK Opens Second Orlando Location with Fresh Kitchen SoDo
Quick Service Concept Features Build-Your-Own Chef-Inspired Bowls as Fast as You Can Point With Fresh, High-Quality, Seasonal, 100 Percent Gluten-Free Ingredients
Orlando does a double take, as quality and convenience for the health-conscious set makes an encore in the Orlando market with Fresh Kitchen SoDo (FK), the popular build-your-own-bowl concept, which opened on Monday May 7th.
The FK brand reimagined fast food when they opened their first restaurant to overwhelming success in Tampa, Florida’s SoHo district in 2014. This was followed by four more locations including Sarasota, St. Petersburg, Boca Raton, and Orlando. This will be FK’s seventh Florida location, second in the Orlando market and will soon be followed by an additional location in South Florida located in Davie (early Summer 2018).

“We want to continue to bring clean, fresh, and convenient options to local communities, and there’s nothing more rewarding than bringing more of it to a welcoming market. We are so grateful to have such a dedicated fan base in all of our Florida markets, and we are really looking forward to making FK even more accessible across Orlando. With our growth, we’ve continued to remain focused on our food and people. We are looking forward to the opportunity to continue to develop organically through our team. Our people carry on our culture, and that’s at the foundation of what sets us apart,” states FK Brand President, Steven Lanza.

FK invites guests to build their own chef-inspired bowls as fast as they can point. Made from scratch and fresh-to-order, guests are presented with diverse and unique bowl ingredients that change with the seasons including fresh mixed greens, quinoa, sweet potato noodles, perfectly seasoned rices, roasted veggies, hormone & antibiotic-free grilled meats, fresh tuna, home-made sauces and flavorful add-ons. Freshly brewed teas and frescas are prepared in-house daily, and complemented by real cane sugar craft sodas. The entire menu is 100 percent gluten-free with vegan options available. And, all of their meats and veggies are cooked in 100% olive oil. Bowls range from $9.99 for a Six Bowl (two bases, two veggies, two proteins, one sauce) to $8.29 for a Four Bowl (two bases, one veggie, one protein, one sauce), and $6.99 for a Kid’s Bowl (one base, one veggie, one protein, one sauce).

FK and their joint venture partners, Covelli Family Limited Partnership (CFLP), are well known for their philanthropic efforts and for supporting the communities they serve. “We are driven by a strong commitment to give back to the community,” said Kevin Ricci, partner of Fresh Kitchen and owner of CFLP. “One of the many ways we plan to honor the SoDo District is by donating 100% of the proceeds of our retail product sales to local charities. Our FK model of giving speaks volumes about our customers and their continued support of our concept. We feel fortunate to serve as a platform where guests can actively participate in our charitable efforts.”
In keeping with the brand’s signature look, the SoDo location is a contemporary space adorned with bright colors and hand painted murals that are uniquely inspired by the Orlando community. The 2,600-square-foot space will feature both indoor and outdoor patio seating.
Each FK location has unique wall art.
Fresh Kitchen SoDo located at 2855 S. Orange Avenue in Orlando, and will be open Monday through Saturday from 11AM-9:35PM and Sunday from 11AM-9:05PM.
