Fooq Miami Celebrates One Year Anniversary
Downtown’s Arts & Entertainment District’s Feel Good Food dining spot, Fooq Miami, is throwing itself a feast in honor of its one year anniversary this Sunday, March 13th at 12:00 pm – 3:00 pm. The Persian themed event will celebrate the important anniversary for the locally loved restaurant and pay homage to owner, David Foulquier’s Persian roots.
With the talented Executive Chef Bryan Rojas at the helm of the kitchen, Fooq’s will treat guests to an array of delectable and hearty Persian dishes, staying true to the tradition of family style eating. Dishes will include Chicken, Lamb and Vegetable Khoresh’s, traditional Persian style stews prepared with liberal amounts of saffron that give a distinctive and fragrant taste. Guests will also be able to enjoy Jeweled Rice Tadig, Dill Rice and Fava Beans as well as a Lentil rice dish served with sweet onions.
The young French-Persian owner, David Foulquier, will also be serving a mysterious Persian Juice Cocktail, specially crafted for the celebration. Guests will be able to dine inside Fooq’s or enjoy the newly launched patio, an alfresco oasis, lined with Cuban tiles and greenery fit for a relaxing evening under the stars.
