Flow at the Sacred Space’s Heavenly Products
People in Miami are always asking me where the positive energy people hang out and one of the first places I always send them is to the enchanting Sacred Space Miami! It is home to my fave Vegan restaurant Plant Miami, which we beyond adore as you can see from my review. Plant is also one of the BEST restaurants in all of Miami! Vegan food is quite exquisite when done properly. Another lovely facet of the Sacred Space is Flow.
Flow is a wonderful integrated wellness and lifestyle shop located in the heart of The Sacred Space Miami, in the Wynwood Arts District. The architect of the Scared Place is the amazing Karla Dascal. Karla Dascal is a Miami native, who first came into the limelight in the ‘90s when she quickly ascended to become one of the country’s top event and wedding producers. She was highly successful, but the stressful nature of the industry led to a 100-pound weight gain, diabetes diagnosis and chronic depression.
Around the mid-2000s, Karla was forced to shift gears for health, and dedicated herself to traveling abroad, meeting with top healers, yogis, plant-based chefs and other experts. This personal journey not only saved Karla’s life, but also inspired her to share these lessons and transform Miami into a wellness destination on par with LA or NYC. Karla’s first step was founding The Sacred Space Miami, the city’s only dedicated wellness campus, offering programming year-round and a prestigious educational partnership with University of Miami.
Since opening last fall, Sacred Space has brought in dozens of top names in the health industry, including Taryn Toomey and Amanda Chantal Bacon, and has served as the home to one-of-a-kind festivals including the World Happiness Summit, the Mindfulness Festival, the SEED Vegan Food and Wine festival, among others.
