You heard me. The bigger than life world famous party thrower elrow is back in New York……..and with a bang! This time with more rooms, longer hours, more DJs, and a whole new theme! WHAT?!! I kid you not. This Saturday, elrow is taking over Avant Gardner in Brooklyn from 7:30 pm to 4:30 am, so clear your schedule and get your butt there, or kick yourself later when all your friends recount the amazing, once in a lifetime experience they had.

There’s a new theme, of course, El Bowsque Encantado, or the enchanted forest. How cool is that? Since they extended the party hours, there are more DJs! Have you heard who will be there? Let me tell you, it’s good- Paco Osuna, Victor Calderone, Audiojack, Bastian Bux, Charles Meyer, Detlef, Joeski, Mathias Kaden, Matthias Tanzmann, Miss Jennifer, Sante, Toni Varga, and Westend. Catch up on your sleep now, because the wicked will not be resting this weekend.

Aside from this being an elrow event, something that is always crazy, unique and incredible, and talent that will be performing, they picked the best venue- Avant Gardner. Why do I care about that? I once was an event planner in a former life, and details can make or break the party for me. Do I want to stand outside in line forever? No. Do I like when its impossible to get a drink? No. Do I want to wait five years at the end of the night when I’m tired to get my coat….the right coat? Hell, no. The last event I attended at Avant Gardner was so perfectly organized, it was all I could talk about. It was almost as good as the show itself. So, this perfectionist will be at ease knowing I can expect my night to go off without a hitch.

“Once upon a time there was an enchanted forest in another dimension where reality turns into fantasy and dreams come true. Many believe that once you enter the forest, the wildest corners of a person’s subconscious are aroused. And those crazy enough to actually enter, say that they experience inexplicable attacks of craziness and happiness, out of reach of the average human mind. Get ready to be watched by huge trees, to dance with beautiful creatures and laugh uncontrollably until you turn into some fantastic being. Watch out for the apparitions of dark beasts and demons who live in the shadowlands… the most terrifying part of our forest. Jump into the inexplicable lost time zone, create your own world in the elrow forest, our enchanted realm where the music is simply otherworldly!”

All you Halloween fans, don’t have to wait until next October to bring out your costumes! Although not required, you are encouraged to come as an enchanted forest character. At the show, you wont know who is an official performer, and who is a guest, because guests are just as integral to the experience. It’s interactive– something very unique to an elrow party. If you’ve never been to one of these, I promise you, a night you will never forget.
