Earls Kitchen + Bar – something for everyone
Walking into Earls kitchen and bar almost makes me feel like I’m at a restaurant in New York City (aka my favorite place aside from Miami, of course). There’s plenty of room to stand and mingle or have a seat. There are a mix of high tops, booth’s and even a gorgeous marble table to fit your party needs. You will find the corporate world and happy hour go-ers here on a Friday afternoon. Earl’s is serving up craft cocktails and dishes for every palette. Let’s get down to it!
Typically when I go out to a restaurant I avoid all the salads, however you have to order this one! The Warm Kale Salad – black kale, baby potatoes, roasted brussels sprouts, cranberries and toasted almonds, in brown butter vinaigrette with grilled chicken. The kale is warm but not super wilted and the potatoes add the creaminess you always miss in salads. The Brussels, cranberries and toasted almonds offer a sweet and salty mix. Lets be real, how can you go wrong with a brown butter vinaigrette?
One of the dishes I was most excited to try was the Bibimbap – hot stone rice bowl, with carrots, mushrooms, zucchini and soft poached egg, sesame chili sauce. I am a complete sucker for crispy rice and Asian flavors. I love the presentation of the hot stone bowl, it allows the rice on the bottom to really get toasted. The poached egg acts as a gooey sauce to mix all of the vegetables and crispy rice in – deliciousness.
I, like everyone else love brunch! (which earls offers as well). One of my favorite dishes they have is the Spicy Sausage + Mushroom Hash – avocado, crispy fried potatoes, topped with poached eggs and hollandaise. This is another one of those dishes that is made twenty times better just by adding egg yolks! The sausage is so flavorful and the potatoes get a little crisp on them. This is served in a skillet so it keeps everything delicious and hot!
When you think of “surf and turf” I’m sure lobster and filet come to mind. Earls has put there twist on this classic pair with their Steak and Sushi – marinated steak , ponzu, dynamite roll, unagi maple and sriracha mayo. This is basically my dream combo. I am OBSESSED with sushi (basic, I know) and who doesn’t love a good steak? The flavors of both of these dishes are popping all over the place. It hits all the buds in the right places – sweet, salty, sour and all things delicious.
We’ve made it to the finish line, you deserve dessert! I am totally a s’more lover and when I heard earls put a s’more dessert on their menu I couldn’t resist. The S’mores Skillet Cookie – house made marshmallow, graham cracker, vanilla bean gelato. Please just order this, it’s perfect chocolate, gooey, crispy, soft goodness and you’ll regret it if you don’t get it.

Womderful review. It seems to be a “must go” place to me.
