Dog Haus celebrates National Fried Chicken Day with The Bad Mutha Clucka
Pasadena’s favorite hot dog joint Dog Haus, has “gotten cocky” with their newest inventive creation, The Bad Mutha Clucka; this is a seriously flavorful and crispy, umami-rich fried chicken sandwich that smashes the competition one spicy bite at a time.
Dog Haus and their creative team got together with Chef Ilan Hall once again, having previously concocting The Naughty Dog, promoting Seth Rogen’s Sausage Party. Today, we focus our attention to detail.
Dog Haus’ Bad Mutha Clucka starts with a King’s Hawaiian Rolls, grilled to toasted perfection. Next, Chef Hall and the team brine their 100% all natural, cage-free chicken breast and dip it in a special batter that is fried once.
The result is a flavorful subtly crunchy fried chicken breast that benefits from “the umami elements from the miso and red chili flakes, which balances the sweetness from the King’s Hawaiian rolls.” This sandwich fulfills Dog Haus and Chef Hall’s quest to push the boundaries and forge a path to the future.
Make sure to stop by the nearest Dog Haus location to you this July 6th to help celebrate National Fried Chicken day and make sure to order the Bad Mutha Clucka. You will not regret it!
