305 Brews Restaurant & Bar Review

Cheers to 305 Brews in Midtown

It’s absolutely wonderful to continue to see Miami’s craft beer scene grow more and more each day, with a variety of breweries to quench the thirst of  craft beer enthusiasts all over.  New to the Midtown area is 305 Brews, a restaurant that not only supports local brews by providing them on their rotating tap list but they cook with the beers as well.  The majority of their dishes are made with craft beers brewed right here in Miami.

305 Brews - Beer Cheese Dip

Their menu is simple and filled with American favorites such as their beer cheese dip with sweet potato and regular chips.  This is definitely the perfect starter that is great for sharing (or not!).  As a cheese lover, I can certainly down an entire batch of this myself.

305 Brews - Fried Mushrooms

Their beer battered mushrooms are crispy and served with a creamy garlic aoli sauce.  This appetizer was prepared with Miami Weisse Hefeweizen beer from M.I.A. Brewing Company and the batter contains La Rubia American Blonde Ale from Wynwood Brewing Company.

305 Brews - Halibut

The Halibut bathed in a Pops Porter mango stout jelly glaze, giving  it a great fruity molasses flavor which adds richness to the seafood dish.  It’s topped with crushed roasted almonds.

Jumbo shrimp beer battered in La Rubia blonde ale is served with a fresh cantaloupe melon mango hops sauce and goes paired perfectly with a glass of J. Wakefield Stush Berliner Weisse.

305 Brews

Their version of the Cuban sandwich is stacked with Maduro Brown Ale Mojo marinated pork, ham, swiss cheese, pickle alongside a homemade beer mustard to smear all in these delights.

305 Brews Burger

For the 305 Burger, a homemade blend of IPA marinated beef and pork. lettuce, tomato, onion, cheese and pickle brought together served almost mid-rare, blushing pink for a juicy bite.  The burger is served with homemade beer mustard and side of choice (I had the fresh cut french fries).

305 Brews Home Made Ice Cream

305 Pop’s Ice Cream is their very own signature ice cream made with Wynwood Brewing Co Pop’s Porter Robust Porter and topped with chocolate chip morsels.  I only wish I could take a pint of this home as it is absolutely delicious.  Come on now, beer and ice cream, you can’t go wrong.  Best combination ever!  Sorry kiddos, this dessert is for ages 21 and over only.

Owner Zeke Maniera really came up with a great concept for a restaurant with 305 Brews.  I really enjoyed my time and tasting at this relaxing establishment. Chef Roberto Lacayo did a fantastic job incorporating the local brews in all of the dishes.  Craft beer enthusiasts should definitely check out this spot to satisfy their hunger cravings and thirst for their favorite beverage.
