Blanket Fort Presents: Christmas in March – Cozy Chicago Improv Comedy
The sun is finally starting to come out again ( at least occasionally by the afternoon). It’s no longer bitterly cold, and you’re finally coming out of your winter blues! Why not end your cozy weekend in a Blanket Fort cuddling with your pals and laughing your cute lil’ bum off at all of the silly stuff the kids have planned this time around with some Chicago improv comedy? Not only that, but Max’s dad finally has work off (hooray!) and they’re finally going to celebrate Christmas together! Deck the halls and kowabunga, my dudes! Break out your favorite Christmas Sweaters, ugly or not, and let’s rock around the Blanket Fort.
If you haven’t gotten it by now, Blanket Fort is a Chicago improv comedy variety show that takes place entirely inside of a Blanket Fort (just like the name implies! Are you surprised?) It is produced and hosted by Brad Rickert, Max Shanker, and Elsie How. Every second Sunday of the month we’ll curate a comfy and wack-a-doo atmosphere for your absolute amusement, and it’s nothing like you’ve ever seen before. For this month’s show, there’s going to be a killer lineup:
improv
sketch
music
stand-up
and other seriously messed up bonkers junk you probably won’t even believe!
So stick around this Sunday, wear some PJs, and BYOP (Bring Your Own Pillow, you nerd) because Blanket Fort will be the silliest way to end your freakin’ weekend via killer Chicago improv comedy.
♥ Here’s that sweet baby lineup ♥
Standup from Dame Grant
Improv from KAREN
Sketch from Meggie and Laura
Doing whatever she wants, Heather King
Hip Hop from GreediPhresh
Sketch from Midnight Shit
And, as always, performances from your producers and hosts as well as some holly jolly Christmas Bits.
