Between 11:00am and 3:00pm on Sunday, June 19th, The Traymore Restaurant and Bar will showcase an exquisite Father’s Day celebration brunch featuring an à la carte selection of menu items to choose from, courtesy of Chef de Cuisine Juan Loaisiga.

The brunch menu will offer four items for two people to share, with a variety of dishes on the Savory menu to choose from, that includes for example: Eggs Royale / Eggs Benedict; Maine Lobster Toast; Eight Hour Braised Short Rib; a portion of three Oysters with passion fruit mignonette; Seafood Cobb Salad; Pan Roasted Fish of the Day and a cheese board selection.  The Sweet menu offers Brioche French Toast, an assortment of Flavored Eclairs as well as Passion Fruit Napoleon.

The Hall in South Beach Brunch Picnic at Campton Yard

Star chef Spike Mendelsohn is pleased to announce the launch of brunch at Campton Yard, his recently opened backyard hangout at The Hall in South Beach. The brunch will launch on Sunday, June 19th in celebration of Father’s Day as Mendelsohn quickly approaches the milestone of fatherhood.

Brunch service runs from 12 p.m. until 3 p.m., offering guests a laid back, al fresco environment filled with good vibes, delicious bites, bottomless drink specials, backyard games and picnic-style seating under a banyan tree.

The playful brunch menu will feature signature breakfast delights with Spike Mendelsohn’s imaginative twists as an ode to Miami. Highlights include the Pigs in a “Blanket” ($10) made with pancake batter dipped chicken and apple sausage, bourbon infused maple syrup, and powdered sugar; a Guava and Mascarpone Breakfast “Lasagna” ($14) with layers of Brioche bread pudding, vanilla-mascarpone mousse, and guava; Smoked Turkey Hash ($16) with smoked turkey sausage, root vegetables, peppers, onions, and whole grain mustard, the Campton Kale Salad ($13), and the Three 0’ Five Dog ($10) with crispy hot dog, fried egg, maduros, red onion, habanero pepper, guava-BBQ sauce, and papitas.

No brunch is complete without a proper cocktail, so Campton Yard is offering dad’s first Bloody Mary on the house. The Ketel One Bloody Mary cart will be brought straight to the table, so all he has to do is point and pick his desired toppings. Other drink specials include $25 bottomless beer and $30 bottomless mimosas or Bloody Marys, which will be available throughout brunch service.

Jungle Island Gospel Jazz Brunch

On Father’s Day, Jungle Island will proudly partner with City Hall the Restaurant’s Steve Haas of to bring back a one-day pop-up Gospel Jazz brunch with special performances by Miami’s bonafide gospel diva, Maryel Epps.

While Maryel once reverberated her awe-inspiring voice against the walls of the 6,000 square-foot establishment, she is now bringing her talents to a most unique setting at Jungle Island. Families are invited to enjoy this much-anticipated return, and receive half-off park admission with the purchase of brunch.

For this event, Chef Luis Lopez conjured up a menu featuring familiar City Hall fan-favorites including:

• Fried Chicken & Corn Flake Crusted French Toast: Vanilla-glazed, Cornflake-crusted, Grand Marnier French toast topped with crispy, lightly spicy buttermilk-dipped Southern fried chicken and served with maple syrup. The fried chicken will be served separately, but that’s how Steve suggests eating it!
• Braised Beef Short Ribs: 24-hour braised short ribs served with creamy polenta and farm-raised scrambled eggs
• Award-winning pancakes: Vanilla bean infused pancakes with chocolate chips, blueberries or banana with pecans
• House-blend Meatloaf baked with crispy onions and barbecue glaze
• City Hall’s famous Chocolate Chip Bourbon Croissant Bread Pudding

• New Orleans influenced Shrimp & Grits with Tasso Ham
• Salmon Salad made with Grilled North Atlantic Salmon, mixed greens, Bermuda onions, radishes, strawberries, grapes, toasted sun flower seeds and passion fruit vinaigrette
• City Hall’s signature maple pecan butter accompanied with assortment of fresh artisan breads

The Gospel Jazz brunch will also include traditional brunch favorites and will take place in Jungle Island’s signature Treetop Ballroom on Sunday, June 19, 2016.
