Best Burgers New York?

I don’t know about you, but my search for the perfect burger is never ending, not because I haven’t tasted a plethora of the Best Burgers New York already, but because just as soon as I think I have tasted the best burger, a new “best” is right around the corner. It is, admittedly, my favorite problem to have! I’m so excited to introduce you to the newest burgers in my favorite burger rotation, the Benjamin Burger from Benjamin Steakhouse and the Salmon Burger from Sea Fire Grill. Go get a towel. You are about to drool.
I went to Sea Fire Grill having no idea what to expect. I was impressed with this midtown seafood spot the second I stepped in. I’m one of those weird people who says things like, “the energy is good” or “bad”, and the first thing that flashed through my mind was “what a peaceful, elegant, good place”. Upon walking in, I instantly felt a million times more relaxed. In New York city, that alone is enough of a reason to dine somewhere.
Then, they brought out their Salmon Burger. I confess. I was skeptical. Salmon is so often overcooked and dry, and I cannot even begin to express my outrage of overcooked salmon. I love salmon. I mean, I really, really love it, and to see that poor salmon die in vain, is one of my pet peeves. I usually order it in sushi form, unless I am sure, beyond a shadow of a doubt, that I will not be disappointed. The fact that it was coming to me in burger form made me even more nervous. I felt twice as likely to receive the bain of my existence. Happily wrong was I! The salmon in this burger was cooked as if the chef himself went out fishing at the break of dawn, caught it, carried it back, cleaned it, and then lovingly cooked it all by himself. I highly doubt that is what happened, but that’s what it tasted like. So, basically, it was cooked to perfection, There wasn’t anything preventing me from completely appreciating the taste of the salmon, nothing masking its flavor. I will never look at a salmon burger the same again.
I admit, thinking I was going to find another best burger in the same day, let alone the same week was pretty cocky of me, but since I was seeking it in a New York steakhouse, Benjamin Steakhouse, to be exact, I was willing to wager it.
Wow! The half-pound Benjamin Burger was mammoth! When they brought it out, my jaw dropped, and drool dripped onto the floor. The beef that made up this heavenly masterpiece is a combination of dry aged blend porterhouse, rib eye and ny strip. If “location, location, location” sums up real estate, “ingredients, ingredients, ingredients” sums up this burger. Well-seasoned and perfectly cooked, this juicy burger earned its spot on my list of favorites.
Next time you’re in the mood for one of the best burgers New York, whether your cravings point toward seafood or are a bit more carnivorous, check the Salmon Burger from Sea Fire Grill and the Benjamin Burger from Benjamin Steakhouse off your bucket list……just try to control that drool.
